Ok, I am really hating Quinn AND Rose both right now! Rose is a complete b*witch for keeping both her child and her undeath a secret from Quinn and Quinn is such a whiny vampire! It went from 3 stars to 1 star very quickly for me!

I'm not enjoying this one as much as the prior ones either. I'm not buying this grand romance.

She stayed away for stupid reasons, because if she had just talked to Quinn, she would have never had to stay away from him! The thing with Blake is kinda stupid too, but we do get an interesting look into Thomas. It saves the book from a 1 star rating, but after Oliver's book which I have already purchased, I'm giving up on the series. It just no longer works for me, and I don't want to waste any more money on the series.

I am an hour away and I don't see what could be that bad
1) she didn't want her kids to be turned
2) she killed wallace
3) she has the flashdrive
I don't see either one of those soooo bad that she couldn't go to the love of her life.
I also don't buy their grand love because she knew how to reach him and did when she really needed something. She had been living without him all this time so it can't be all consuming for her.
I still like the series and will finish it out though :D

I know RLftCI is reading Black Knights, but I've read the first three already already and need to re-read them/wait for the group to catch up to where I am. Since I didn't care for Thunder Point, I'm out of that group read, and we've already read their other series group read! Did they kill the Chased by Moonlight series read? Maybe we could take a few months off, starting in May, seeing as how Penni got left behind on Scanguards, and you'd like to finish the series?

I ve enjoyed most of the stories so this one is anomaly.
I listening first two books of the Julie Ann Long series and really disliked that one.
Ezi, when do you want to read Oliver?

Works for me, I can read an Inspirational novella for tomorrow's book.
*singsong voice* Ezi...Ezi...! I started this a little after midnight, cause I was having trouble sleeping, and I hate to say it but I'm finished with it! I got about 11% in before I fell asleep, then I've not been able to put it down all afternoon! I was a bit confused in the beginning of the book, but it resolved to a degree. The book has put me back on the fence, cause we see a glimpse of Thomas' story in this one, and I didn't like the reaction in the book. I'm on the fence about buying Thomas' book, so I'd love to hear your thoughts on this one and the scene I'm referring to.

Yeah, I laughed a good bit at that constant bringing it up! He was pretty funny with it.
She's human, but there's a theory as to why her blood is so tasty. It gets explained later, unless you want me to spoil it now?

Well, they found the vampire whose wallet Ursula stole. She said it was Asian women, but age and beauty didn't matter.
But their blood had a "drugging" effect on the vampires

Yup. However, later on in the book, there's a scene in that shows you that it is not ALL Asian women, only these specific ones.

I don't mind either way, so I'll leave it up to you. We're planning on both Thomas's Choice and Silent Bite: A Scanguards Wedding (1001 Dark Nights) in May, right? Do we want to split it up into the month or read them back to back? I think splitting it up might be a good idea, but I'm flexible, so I can do either way.
Looks like Luther's story is coming out next week, so we should be wrapped up in July. Do we want to take a break from BRs or should we start a nomination discussion as well?

I am perfectly fine with continuing on with a new series after Scanguards. Like I said, BRs motivate me to actually read the series, so I'm all for that!
When do you want to read them in the month? I'm good with whenever, but I know you do a lot more timed challenges than I do, so I'll leave timing up to you.
Since we're discussing continuing on, I'm going to toss out 5 suggestions for discussion and we can go from there to figure out the next series:
1. Magnificent Devices by Shelley Adina (I've only read the first of the series Lady of Devices, but I really enjoyed it and have been meaning to get back to the series.)
2. Another paranormal series?
3. Something Contemporary...but I have no idea what!
4. Laura Kaye's Hard Ink Romantic Suspense series
5. How do you feel about Inspirational Romance? (There is a couple of series we could go for, but this one is a iffy suggestion, as I am not sure you like them.)
