Not that I know of. I may read it a little slower to enjoy it for longer but not completely put it down.

Sometimes I've done this or took a break when I know it's about to get intense or I'm afraid a character I love is going to die. I think I do this more with series than individual books though. If I'm loving a series I don't want it to end, but I also want to know what happens in all of the books. It's a vicious cycle haha.

I only finished one book in June, which was Cat + Gamer Volume 5 – I really enjoyed it.
I was trying to get through A Tale for the Time Being but ended up DNF'ing it.

I finished two. The Grandest Game and Kenobi

I can't really judge which I liked more, they're both completely different books and I loved them both!

I read 3 books in June. I honestly liked them all. My favorite would have been Broken Country by Clare Leslie Hall.

More of Emily Henry's books, specifically, People We Meet on Vacation, Happy Place, and Funny Story. Not sure which of her books I'll get to this summer but I'd like to read something by her during the season. I feel like they'll be the perfect summery books.

Gai-Jin by James Clavell. Book 3 in the Shogun series. I really enjoyed the other two. Hopefully I will get this one in soon.

There are quite a few I can think of.
• Maria’s Island and the Owens house in Massachusetts from Practical Magic. It would be perfect for summer with the breezy seaside air, midnight margaritas, the beautiful house, a touch of magic, and a garden full of herbs and secrets.
• The Shire from The Hobbit and LOTR would be great in the summer as well, with garden parties, second breakfasts, and rolling hills. It would definitely be a cozy summer.
• Stars Hollow from Gilmore Girls with endless coffee, quirky festivals, and all the small-town charm.
• Hogsmeade from Harry Potter with butterbeer in the sun and magical shops.
• Velaris from the ACOTAR series...spending a summer in the City of Starlight would be amazing.

I try to read seasonally but I don't have anything specific in mind that I have set aside for a seasonal read. I've been wanting to dive back into fantasy (my comfort genre), which I'm always in the mood for. I guess I've been putting off reading Mistborn: The Final Empire until the right time. It's kind of like delayed gratification because I know I'm going to love it.

i'm a big mood reader so there's a lot of books i'm saving for the right mood. i've owned a copy of black sun by rebecca roanhorse forever it feels like and i'm just never in the mood to pick up fantasy

I typically read shorter books in the summer because I'm the busiest in the summer. However, I'm a mood reader so if I'm in the mood to read a tome, I'm gonna do it. Also, having a kindle makes it much easier.

I have bought special editions of books from favorite authors and I own multiple copies of my favorite books. The special editions are like the trophy copies on my shelves.

If they're not super expensive I do like having one or two special editions of classic's. but I don't like the sprayed edges trend, I feel like they won't wear down well.

Would definitely spend spring and autumn in Avonlea from Anne of Green Gables, summer in Derbyshire, England or in Brighton from Jane Austen novels, and winter in Concord, Massachusetts with the March family from Little Women!

I prefer all of the extras. I think having a map, family trees, and those types of additions along with the story make it feel more real and also serve as great references. They particularly come in handy for me because I mostly read fantasy. I don't refer back to them constantly but it's nice to have if I need or want to look at them.

It depends on the book honestly. If it has a lot of characters I prefer a family tree. And a map is really useful when reading some fantasy books also.

I think Bree Paulsen deserves more hype. She not only writes her stories but illustrates them. Her first traditionally published work was Garlic and the Vampire and it was so good. I loved it! If you like all things autumnal, please try it out.
