How to Be a Zombie by Serena Valentino
"To be honest, I was a tad disappointed when I finished "How to be a Zombie".
Usually I'm a big fan of Zombies and of Serena Valentino's works, so I though things could not go wrong.
They didn't, not entirely, but they also did not go right.

It's les..." Read more of this review »
Fairest of All by Serena Valentino
"Fairest took the Evil Queen to fresh perspective. Magic while in abundance is not overdone. A fast read, it still manages to evoke sorrow for the Queen, terror for Snow and makes you wish they had made Fairest into a movie instead!"

"3 1/2

Really liked the artwork for this one, and the stories. Big change of tone from the first story to the second. I find myself liking the ones with Gwen in them the best."

More of Serena's books…
“The words wounded deeper than the bruises and the scars from any physical pain he inflicted on me. At least those wounds healed.”
Serena Valentino, Fairest of All

“To die, one must first have been alive. And the Beast could finally say that by finding love, he had lived.”
Serena Valentino, The Beast Within: A Tale of Beauty's Prince

“Practically every princess in peril has been saved by Love's First Kiss! For goodness' sake, between witches and fairies, can't we think of something more original? I'm weary of this. Why must a young girl need a man to save her? Why can't a princess fight for her own life, break her own curse? Why must it always be a prince? By Hades, I want to kill Prince Phillip on principle, just so we don't have yet one more prince kissing some helpless sleeping girl, making her feel like she has to marry him out of gratitude.”
Serena Valentino, Mistress of All Evil: A Tale of the Dark Fairy
