161. What is your perfect reading setting? Describe it.

[Jennifer]

My perfect reading setting is sitting in a cozy chair with a blanket. In the winter time I love having my fireplace going as well. I love to drink coffee or hot chocolate also!

I like to read on the couch with a nice throw blanket and pillow. I like to have something to drink, and I'll put something on in the background for noise.

When I buy a new book I have to flip the pages and smell it! I love the smell of new books!! Weird I know!!

Favorite reading setting: anywhere I can lounge and have only my legs in the sun. Blanket is optional. And music in the background.

Currently, nothing on request at physical library because of the corona virus. Often, I have at one or two books on hold and often an interlibrary request. I did have three digital holds, but they all came in last week.

Peace Talks by Jim Butcher, and I just saw that he will have another coming in September! Battle Ground. Both of these titles are in the Dresden Files, so I am definitely eager to read!!

I really enjoy Reese Witherspoon's Hello Sunshine Book Club. She selects a variety of genres that cause me to read books that I probably wouldn't have picked up otherwise. She is really active on social media platforms, especially Instagram. It lets her engage with participants, and it allows participants to be more involved and discuss with each other. She also showcases the author of that month's selection to give a few clues as to what the next book will be. It's really fun to guess and see what everyone thinks it will be. I want to read all of her book selections for the book club; it's a goal.

I don’t typically participate in a celebrity book club. I like to see what Reese’s book club picks though. I’ve only read a few from her book club and they were just okay.

I do not participate in any celebrity book clubs. But I have read and enjoyed several of Reese Witherspoon's book club books. I have also read several of Oprah's. Some of hers I liked, some I did not.
