Review: Very relatable novel about teenage depression. Actually has quite a bit of humor, which is nice. LOVED that the author also wrote "Be More Chill", which was recently adapted into a great new musical!

You cannot fall three books behind, since this is just the start of week two you are good. But I would aim to finish your week one or two book this week to not get to far off track.

Review: This book tackles a lot of hard hitting subjects that are so relevant today. Angie Thomas did it so well in THUG, and did it again for On the Come Up. She really pushes the envelope and makes you think and reflect on these social issues.

Thank you! I just wish there was a way to filter in my TBR shelf lol

Unfortunately it isn't the easiest tasks, GR leaves must to be desired in all areas of its search function.
I typically will use the Find function in my browser to search for a shelf on the many pages.
If I don't have an idea of a book that I think might have a particular tag I will go to the list feature under browse at top of GR and type the tag in to start seeing list that have that tag associated and browse around.

Shelf: Disability
Book: You and Everything After
Author: Ginger Scott
Pages: 280
Date finished: 13/6/19
Qualification: Male MC is a paraplegic, Female MC has MS
Rating: 3*
Review: An easy read but refreshing that it's a romance about two people facing physical disability. I loved that neither MCs wanted to be victims and supported each other. It wasn't the most amazing book I've ever read but definitely wasn't a chore.

This is where I will link to the weekly the tracking post for selections post and completions. The # is how many of the team have completed said post.
I will also recap missing ahead of the weekly calls just to help make it easier to see since I know sometimes it can be easy to forget something along the way. This will also help you see if you are in danger of being behind three books.
And as a check, you can let me know if I missed a post.

To those that already did a completion post can you please go back and add the following:

Shelf: Historical
Book: Little Fires Everywhere
Author: Celeste Ng

Qualification: Tagged 16 times to Historical Shelf
Date: 6/16/2019
Rating: *****
Review: This book was difficult for me to get through. Not because it was bad. It was really good, so much better than her previous book, but it was just deep. The whole story centered around different mothers and daughters and their relationships. It was an emotionally rich book.

Do I need to read for free space or are people just putting that for books that don't fit anywhere else yet?

Do I need to read..."
The free shelf is required by everyone. You will need to read for it. It is a book of your choosing, no shelf requirements. Only requirement is that you "got it for free" to read. Library, friend, gift, Kindle Unlimited, ARC, etc.

Post completions and selections in this thread.

Okay, thanks. Most of my books are things I got for free, so I can post those. Can I backdate and use something I've read within the challenge period as long as it fits the qualifications?

Shelf: Disability
Book: The Boy Next Door
Author: Annabelle Costa
Pages: 221
Qualification: Shelved "disability" 9 times
Read: 06/15/19
Rating: 3.5
Review: Tasha was a bit annoying, even in middle age she couldn't get over trying to be the 'cool' girl. Very superficial about wanting to still think she was that teenaged girl that every man wanted. Strings of nothing more than hook-ups litter her past. Her best friend that she turns to for everything to steady her life is her childhood neighbor. Jason, 'just the boy in the wheelchair' has been through everything with her but she just thinks of him as brother because deep down she doesn't see past the wheelchair.

Jennifer - Can you correct to say "completion" post. Thank you.
Oh I see what you did. You added a selection and a completion. But the one with the review says selection. .
Selection post with rating/review. I would change to completion.
Completion Post. This has a date read, but not rating/review. I would remove the date read and label as selection.

That all means I am about to start the next stage of my life, which I hope includes family connection and eventually becoming a mother of my own.
