I do hope I've got the scores right this week seeing as I've given myself the double win. Good to see Steve's Roos getting the highest score of the week (a tad ironic as it was their coach's last game - he and the club have come to a settlement whereby he was released from his contract. At least it seems to have been amicable all round but it was a sad sight seeing so many players, and Brad Scott himself, in tears after the game.)

Next week's fixtures are:
Friday, May 31
North Melbourne Kangaroos v Richmond Tigers (in Melbourne)
Saturday, June 1
Collingwood Magpies v Fremantle Dockers (in Melbourne)
GWS Giants v Gold Coast Suns (in Sydney)
Geelong Cats v Sydney Swans (in Geelong)
Brisbane Lions v Hawthorn Hawks (in Brisbane)
Melbourne Demons v Adelaide Crows (in Darwin)
Sunday, June 2
St Kilda Saints v Port Power (in Shanghai)
Essendon Bombers v Carlton Blues (in Melbourne)
West Coast Eagles v Western Bulldogs (in Perth)
If punters could lodge their tips by midnight THURSDAY May 30 (your time) it would be a great help, although I can accept them up until 10.45am FRIDAY May 31 (your time) if absolutely necessary.
So close, Val - a full house would have seen you topping the table :)
Well done anyway, and congratulations to Steve for bagging A$6.00 for his charity :)

I was thinking 'unattached' might be suitable? ... but then I started thinking that perhaps it sounded a bit too much like an advert in the Lonely Hearts section of the local Newspaper - LOL!!!

Thanks for the nudge Suzy, sweetie!
Right this round is seemingly very predictable..but..i'm going try a coupla risky punts:
Tigers - 13 (got a feeling the roos could get this one, but not confident, so going with favs)
Pies
Giants (I pity those poor Suns!)
Cats
Hawks
Demons
Port
Blues
Eagles
I'm done with the celebrations Val..i can't hack the hangovers anymore! :)

Yeah..a whole lotta new fencing work, plus other things too...but nothing sinister though! We always get busy at this time of year..and try and get as much outside stuff done as we can.
I've been putting piccys up on me profile of the fence job, as requested by a couple of members in the other group......not that there's much to see at the moment though!...Just a road running past our house, as our garden is currently exposed to 'elements' atm! :)

Tonight's result:
North Melbourne Kangaroos (Syeve) v Richmond Tigers (Philip)
4.1.25 (Q1) 3.2.20
6.7.43 (Q2) 6.3.39
12.7.79 (Q3) 7.4.46
15.9.99 (Q4) 9.8.62
An amazing game with the Kangas leading almost all night - out to 55 points at one stage! I only picked them to be a bit different and also the curse of the new coach (their coach Brad Scott departed after last week's game - so often, teams seem to hit a purple patch when a new coach takes the reins - it rarely lasts though!). So that makes me the winner of the closest margin (two weeks running) and another $6.00 for Beyond The Orphanage.

Well done you Val...again! :)
I think the fence job will look at lot worse yet..before it gets better. I'm not a fan of concrete myself..but the soil is so acidic (being on moorland)..it doesn't last..even treated posts. So opted for the permanant chioce..and i'll figure out how 'beautify' those concrete bits later on.
Nicely worked out, Val - well done :)
The rest of mine, if that's OK;
Magpies
Giants
Cats
Lions
Demons
Power
Blues
Eagles
Thanks :)

Aaaargh!.... Gutted for not backing my own team!!!!! 😤

and "..the masterstroke of the entire concept is the lavish recreation of François Gérard’s painting of The Coronation of Charles X at Reims....the performers show terrific discipline by moving at glacial pace to magically create the painting on stage"

Then I had to race a couple of blocks to the Malthouse Theatre for five hours of Tim Winton's "Cloudstreet". It was done in three acts with dinner served at the end of Act 1 (olives and arancini, aubergine lasagne, polenta chips, chocolate fondant) and free tubs of ice-cream during the play and at the end of Act 2. So I was away from home for thirteen hours! And there were a couple of upset results in the meantime!

It's that man David again! Top of both ladders this week! What an amazing run of consistent tipping! Yet again, a round that looked straight-forward on paper found a lot of us wanting. Congrats to all who tipped 7. As well as all our winners - Grizzly's Port shook off the heat in Shanghai and scored a whopping 139 points. Mind you, I thought the Eagles might equal if not overtake them in the game just finished.

If anyone would like to view the AFL Ladder before submitting next week's tips, it's at http://www.afl.com.au/ladder
Next week's fixtures are:
Friday, June 7
Richmond Tigers v Geelong Cats (in Melbourne)
Saturday, June 8
Carlton Blues v Brisbane Lions (in Melbourne)
Gold Coast Suns v North Melbourne Kangaroos (on the Gold Coast)
Adelaide Crows v GWS Giants (in Adelaide)

The dreaded Manflu, hey? ... so you decided to call the family in and then run away and leave them to it? ... and while he was almost 'dying' you had an absolutely fantastic time?! ... Ohhh, Val?! - how could you?!! ... HA HA HA HA HA!!! ;o>
