Probably shouldn't go for my swans πππ"
I think the Swans have been grounded Anita. Technical problems with their autothrottle systems, mibbe?! ;-)
Just ignore me..I'm in a silly billy mood tonight! :-D

And very well-punted Grizzly and Val ... x x"
Thanks Suzy, and Val of course for all her hard work

I'm following the crowd and going with what looks obvious (rarely is). I'm even going against the sacked coach curse - Carlton sacked their coach mid-week so Murphy's law says they should win. You read it here first.

Here's hoping we have a cracker of a game tonight. Two top teams who nearly always play entertaining footy. I have been really into the cricket this week. The starting time equates to 7.30pm here so tailor-made for evening viewing. We never see the end though. it's straight on to the net first thing in the morning to see how the game finished up. Very surprised by last night's result. Went to bed about 2.00am with the Windies still having 6 wickets in hand. Thought they'd be a shoe-in!

It's because I like to put my Punt in as late as possible (so that I can punt on all of the underdogs ;o>) that I tend to notice if anyone hasn't already done so when the first deadline is only a couple of hours away.
I always have far too much spare time on my Hands compared to everyone else on here and I hate the thought of anyone missing out because they were so busy that it had managed to skip their Mind. I like getting to see everyone on here all joining in together ;o>

Tonight's result:
Richmond Tigers (Philip) v Geelong Cats (available)
2.1.13 (Q1) 0.2.2
2.4.16 (Q2) 7.4.46
3.6.24 (Q3) 15.8.98
5.7.37 (Q4) 16.8.104
A whopping 67 point difference and the Tigers were lucky it wasn't more! Lez wins $6.00 for Dementia Australia as her tip of a 43 point margin was the closest.

I hope she returns to the fold soon....i thought she was just having minor op done?

I've been released by the NHS today as they've had enough of me.
Will publish a medical bulletin on 'Snails.....' soon.

Today's/Tonight's results:
Carlton Blues (RedJohn) v Brisbane Lions (David)
0.3.3 (Q1) 3.3.21
3.4.22 (Q2) 6.4.40
8.9.57 (Q3) 8.5.53
11.12.78 (Q3) 9.9.63
Gold Coast Suns (Suzy) v North Melbourne Kangaroos (Steve)
1.3.9 (Q1) 7.2.44
4.3.27 (Q2) 9.5.59
7.4.46 (Q3) 12.9.81
11.6.72 (Q4) 14.15.99
Adelaide Crows (Dean) v Greater Western Sydney Giants (Duke)
2.5.17 (Q1) 1.2.8
4.7.31 (Q2) 3.4.22
6.7.43 (Q3) 7.5.47
12.10.82 (Q4) 9.7.61
Don't say I didn't warn you about Carlton! And the pesky Crows have upset a lot of us too. There is no such thing as an easy round in the AFL.

Today's result:
Sydney Swans (Anita) v West Coast Eagles (Sussex)
4.1.25 (Q1) 2.1.13
9.6.60 (Q2) 5.4.34
14.7.91 (Q3) 7.8.50
18.8.116 (Q4) 10.10.70

The tigers have done well to get this far..but with their growing injury list and poor record in Adelaide....the pesky Crows should get the job done. As for the others?.....Erm.....
Crows - 25
Hawks - (but not by much!)
Suns - (both teams are awful..but the Suns are well over due for a win!)
Port - (50/50 - either team could get it...but Port are strong and healthy presently!)
Dogs (Doggies are well rested from a bye..so the Blues won't get 2 in a row)
Giants - (the Roos are very good in Tazzyland, but GWS won't lose 2 in a row!!)
I expect to do abismally...again!
G'luck y'all....especially me! :)

Thank you to my fairy godmother Suzy for the nudge.
Here we go
CROOOOOOOOOOWS 27
Bombers
Saints
Dockers
Dogs

Cheers, and good luck all.

Former Commonwealth Games decathlete Jake Stein will make his debut for GWS. The defender, who was disqualified for two false starts in the 100 metre sprint in Glasgow, comes in for the injured Nick Haynes.
P.S. The Tigers are off to a great start.
