Unearthed was a nice surprise. Gemma is approaching her 21st birthday when her life takes a dramatic right turn. Raised by her aunt and uncle after her Father was killed in a car accident (which she also "died" in, but was resuscitated) Gemma's life has been fairly predictable. There is the boy next door, college, and a rather ho-hum existence....until she meets Malakai. Tall, dark, with an aura of danger and mystery, Gemma finds herself enmeshed in a world that is alien to all that she has known.
This is a good book - fantasy with a lot of twists and turns, and one that I kept being surprised at. Well written with good character development it is well worth the read.

We are on space 75 this week!
This means we can read the 7th book in a series, the 5th book in a series, the 75th book in a series, or a book that has a title beginning with F.

Yes, because the 'The' is ignored.

I usually like YA books but for some reason I didn't connect with Ridge or Micah and the story should have made me feel bad for Ridge but again something was missing from the story and didn't suck my in like other YA books do. I will still give this author another try in the future and hopefully I will like it better.

Book starting with F
The third and final book in the series finds Allison dealing with the loss of her friend Zeke at the hands of Master Vampire Sarren. Fueled by grief and rage she sets out with her mentor and Maker Kanin, and her blood brother to destroy Sarren. The book is fast paced with plenty of twists and turns that keeps you wondering what will happen next and what surprise is in the next chapter.
I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys the paranormal, dystopian setting. I really liked the characters and am sad that the series is at an end.

I had a blast! I haven't started my book yet, should I still read it, even though they won?

I'm good with books being dated - that doesn't really bother me at all. I find the same thing with some of Nora Roberts older books, and she is one of my favorite authors.
