I finally got around to Jeff Lindsay's last Dexter book, Dexter Is Dead. The series was getting a little tired, so it's probably fitting to bid Dexter Rest In Peace, because, as the title suggests, at the end of this one, Dexter is, indeed, dead. A bit slow, so only 3.5★shttps://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Archenemies by Marissa Meyer was an interesting follow up but not quite as good as the first, I think!

Just finished The Old Balmain House by AA Graham Wilson.I wanted to love this book, as it ticks a lot of good boxes for me, family history, Australian settlement, local history, a mystery, but while I enjoyed it, it just missed the mark a bit for me, ★ ★ ★

My favorite read of 2019 so far (out of the 5 books I've finished)!
The Orchardist's Daughter is the first book I have read by Aussie author, Karen Viggers, but it certainly won't be the last. Luckily I have the other three in my enormous TBR. 5 BIG ★s
