Emma is probably my least favorite of Austen's, so don't be discouraged if it's not your cup of tea. My favorite, predictably, is Pride and Prejudice.

I'm also taking a break from SFF with Anna Lee Huber's Lady Darby Mysteries. Devoured 6 of the 7 books in the series in the past 2 weeks. Reminds me a bit of Deanna Raybourn's Lady Julia Grey series, but with a better love interest.

Raucous I wanted a break from a couple of long and meandering books so I picked up In the Vanishers’ Palace. Wow. So different. It's amazing how much the author fits into this relatively short book. I loved both the world building and the characters. I especially enjoyed the interplay between the science fiction and fantasy elements and the complex relationship between the primary characters. This was one of my favorite reads of 2018.
