So, what specifically differentiates the elect from the non-elect?

You've certainly replied to this question before, but never yet actually answered it. Interestingly enough I'm not seeing the words "elect" or "non-elect" in that verse, nor am I seeing your explanation of what specifically is the difference.
Who is the elect and who is the non-elect, Robert? And how exactly are they different?
