Thank you! We were positively thrilled to score three times in a row. :-)

Sadly, my solo Chaser Chain was somehow defeated by Gryffindor's beater, who finished the following book about an hour and 45 minutes before me. (And I was reading along to the audio at 3x speed! Took me just over seven hours to read it.)

But then, in a stunning twist, one of our Slytherin beaters came to my rescue! So this solo Goal was GOOD! :-)

And then in a stunning reversal, it was determined that my goal was invalid after all. (Because I finished the book before my defender - Beater Natalie - could finish her edition of it.) :-(

Well, our beater came to my rescue, so The Aeronaut's Windlass DID score for Slytherin! Score is now 80:40, Gryffindor. :-)

Well, I'm impressed! All told, that's three of us who were able to finish a book that is a +21 hour audiobook in under eight hours. (And I think it was in under FIVE hours for the two beaters! :-O I'm in awe.)

ARGH! My head is spinning. I have not had enough sleep for this!

So, The Aeronaut's Windlass was NOT defended in time (because I finished the book while Natalie - our beater - was still reading it). So it CAN count for a spell or a class now and the score is back to being just 80:30, with Gryffindor in the lead. :-(

Hi all, remember how I said I asked the author how many pages were in Enthroned? Well, I never heard back but, sadly, I now fully believe that this book is just 107 pages long.

I think it took me around or just over three hours to read it? Well, the other day I was reading a different book and I only read roughly 30 pages an hour. So I guess 107 for this book doesn't sound as odd as I thought.

So you can update Enthroned in the spreadsheet. 107 pages is correct. (Darn it.)

Ok - last "official business" post for today.

ALL of our books currently have currently been used! That's not to say that we can't move them around and adjust later, but I wanted to get a good idea of what letters we had finished with and what we still needed.

That said - we are done with letters I, V, W, X, and Y! We still need 7 Us.

I didn't really anticipate this being a hard letter, but we sill need 14 Os - so we might want to focus some energy on that if we can. We also need 12 Rs and 10 Es - but those are fairly common so I'm not super concerned about them.

Now that my super stressful client decided that they aren't moving (even after we moved half of their stuff to their new home), I won't be quite so crazy busy. In fact, I have a pretty quiet next 5 days so I'm going to take a look at the classes we have left and see if I can't dig up some options!
