I’ve actually got a second book that works for the baby task, Once Upon a Christmas. Since we’re good on Os but need As, we could switch out the Kate Daniels book.
I am going to be listening to a couple of Jane Yellowrock books tomorrow. I also found a few U books on audible romance I will work on also. I am also reading Shadow's Bane in the evening. Right now it isn’t working for our current letters so I may just read it a little slower since other books will be a priority right now.
In other news - I just found a 7 book series I can get on audible. They're all ~3 hours in audio (all but one checks out in page numbers) with a slow narrator and ALL START WITH U! I'm going to give the first a shot. If it's decent and I can manage the rest of the series I should be able to plow through all of them by Wednesday.
I’m also going to read 4 more In Death books this month. They work for R, E, & N.
Has anybody else noticed that we are in second place on number of pages read? And we’re inching closer to first place!

I should clarify that we don't necessarily need to focus on these letters. They are the ones we have the most left of in the characters, but we also have 40-90 of each of them to work with.
In fact, aside from U and Y, we have more than enough of each letter on its own. We just need more books to fill in the spaces.

I didn't see that. I usually look at the rank only on the NEWT page and then look at the other pages. That's were I saw the # of pages, the Accolade tab.

I'm hoping to have my Dragon book finished by the end of the weekend.Vicky, I heard a rumor that the YA Square is actually supposed to be read by 4 different people, just like the Wizard's Chess square was. Is this true? If so, we'll have to replace 2 of my books. :(
I'm sure you can work your magic, but I noticed that Kristel's Renegades could match up to Ora's My Unfair Godmother, if we moved it to the top of the square. That could leave Defy the Worlds on the bottom and we would need a book that starts with M and ends with D. Or you could work with Lory's Prophecy of the Sisters. Both of those are YA.

Let me take a look at what we have, I know Kristel has thrown down a lot of YA books too.

Okay, I found a funeral in a book we had for characters. Now we just need the mermaids!Alternatively, my book How to be a Mermaid works for mermaids but is currently being used for "someone swimming on the cover."
So we either need mermaids or someone swimming on the cover.

We actually have PLENTY of I and O books that are slotted elsewhere for more common letters that can be shuffled around.
Priority needs for letters are U (we need 6 more) and Y (we need 4 more).
We also need:
8x R
7x A
6x E, L, N
I think really at this point we 1) finish the books slotted for Tri-Wizard, 2) work on U and Y, and 3) read as much as we can to fill in whatever letters we come across. Once we get another big chunk of letters filled in we can revisit more specific letter needs for next week. What does everyone think?
