Just read The Silent Wife. Simple story and easy read. Kept my attention. I would recommend it if you are looking for an 'unchallenging read'. I always like a book that takes place in England. Currently reading 'The Event'. Another easy read taking place in Missouri. so far okay. -
Yesterday I finished the book I was reading just as the doors to the plane closed. I had less than a minute to choose a book on my library app before I had to turn my wifi off, so picked Things You Save in a Fire. Not my usual read, but I am loving it!
I was so anxious to read it when it first came out to rave reviews. I’ll put it back on my TBR list.
Starting Too Much And Never Enough by Mary L. Trump. Hoping to finish listening to The Last Train To Key West tomorrow
Currently listening to One for the Blackbird, One for the Crow. it's a 19 hr audiobook, I'm about halfway through. Its holding my attention though.
also unrelated to books... but I'm binge watching American Horror Story. I'm on Season 5, Hotel ☠️
I just started reading the third book in the Origin Series - "The Brightest Night" by Jennifer Armentrout! I love her books. Lux and Origin series in particular are my absolute favorite.
I am reading Crime and Punishment, and listening to David and Goliath. They are built upon very contrasting ideas!
I just finished listening to Know My Name by Channel Miller. Using her voice she talks about being raped on the Stanford campus. So powerful. Such beautiful writing. Couldn’t recommend it more. Hard but worth it.
I just finished listening to The Book of Lost Friends.
Interesting, if not fascinating historical fiction. Here’s a link to my review:

Just finished listening to The Exiles by Christina Baker Kline, loved it! Working through The Book of Longings by Sue Monk Kidd, a book that needs to be savored and thought about, and devouring Magic Lessons by Alice Hoffman, as I do with all of her books!
Renee,The Girl in the Mirror is really good. An easy read also. I’m on pg 128 of 293 I’d recommend if you want something easy
I’m reading the last of the paradise series, Troubles in Paradise. I have read all of Hilderbrand’s books and I love her. This one is about a 4 out of 5 stars. I still like it..but I don’t LOVE LOVE LOVE IT like I usually do.
Started The Last of the Moon Girls by Barbara DavisRecently finished The Rose Code by Kate Quinn... really liked it! Review to be posted soon
I’m rereading The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins among other books that I’m dipping in and out of. Today I finished Cinder by Marissa Meyer and The City of Ghosts by Victoria Schwab, loved them both
I just start & finished ‘Verity’ by Colleen Hoover. I finished it in one sitting. I just could not put it down. Such a good story. I think I’m still screaming internally.
I have decided on my next Audible book after I finish "One for the Blackbird, One for the Crow" my next listen will be "Where the Crawdads Sing"
The Red Lotus, Chris Bohjalian. One of my favorite authors. Like his earlier work, maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised.
I try currently read uprooted from by Naomi Novik. But I am in reading slump so I couldn't so much :( may be I can do reread to Harry Potter books. Does anyone have a good ideas for reading slump?
when I'm in a reading slump I chose a short story me than 200 pages, something that I know I am going to enjoy like a suspense/thriller to keep me interested or something on my TBR that I know I will enjoyhope these suggestions help. :-)

Easy, compact and sweet.

I just finished reading When the Wind Blows by James Patterson. I have to read it about every 5 years so I can forget parts. It takes me away to a magical place and I am rooting for the underdogs the whole way through. Absolutely delightful.
