I’ve got several on the go right now. Currently reading Meet Me At the Cupcake Cafe by Jenny Colgan on audio. I’m also reading The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern and Star Daughter by Schveta Thakrar for buddy reads, among other books lol
I am needing a light read right now, reading Ruth Ware's latest, One by One, and enjoying it so far (about 70 pages into it)
finished audio The Daughters of Erietown by Connie Schultzfinished The Jade Tiger by E. W. Cooper
started The Pull of the Starts by Emma Donoghue,
Florence Adler Swims Forever by Rachel Beanland
started audio The Thursday Murder Club by Richard Osman

I’m about to finish the last 50 pages of Where the Forest Meets the Stars. It’s been an entertaining easy read. I would recommend it to anyone looking for an escape.
I just finished The Last Flight. It was excellent. Loved the two main female characters. Lots of twists and turns that keep you guessing until the very end.
I just finished listening to The Exiles
Well done historical fiction. Here’s a link to my four star review:

Just started One by One by Ruth Ware. I've read all her books and am looking forward to it! Open to suggestions as well.
Hello, everyone! I read 6 books by Fannie Flegg. After them I can’t read anything, nothing catches my eyes😭 Could you help, please???
My Trashy Romance I'm working through a fellow author's Better Late Romance. This one offers even more than its punny title, My Trashy Romance. Terry Black is better known for his horror/scifi writing, but there's one common denominator in a lot of his works: Humor. A story about love and trash cans is proving to be hilarious, which shouldn't surprise me. It's coming from the guy who wrote a lot of the Crypt Keeper's jokes on Tales From the Crypt.
I finished Greenlighting by Matthew McConaughey it was OK and have started Melania and Me today. So far it is much more interesting. I would like to find a biography like Becoming by Michelle Obama which gave me such hope.
Actually, i decided to pause The Daughters of Palantine Hill because I want to read I am Livia by Phyllis T. Smith first. Even though they are both standalone books since I am Livia talks about who Livia is and why which i think would lead to a better understanding of her in The Daughters of Palantine Hill. So instead I am going to listen to A Drop of Midnight by Jason Diakite.
I am reading Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card. My partner and I got eachother books and this was his pick for me....so far it is not at all what I expected but it's between a 3 and 3.5 star read at 175 pages in.

I own this book but haven't gotten to it just yet - glad to see others enjoyed it!
I just started The Dutch House last night and am liking it so far. I finished Stephen King's The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon (because spooky season!) a few days ago and liked that as well for a shorter read.
Trying to get through Leave The World Behind. Not liking the book at all. I thought it was going to be about race and family, boy was I wrong. I’m just not interested in that subject and the author’s way of writing I don’t care for either!
What I am finding so interesting is so many of these books have not been on my radar at all. I've been jotting these down to check them out. I will have a lot of new choices for 2021!
An interesting book to work from home that you have to have.
Entrepreneurs Guide to Direct Mail Order by Sandy Harper
I am back in the hospital again having surgery on my ankle which I broke in April 30. Possible infection but I brought my kindle and I’m reading The Magnificent Dappled Sea by David Brio

I am enjoying it so far. I love books that tell a story like this. It's almost like a memoir. skketch wrote: "JennEm⚜️ wrote: "‘City of Girls’ by Elizabeth Gilbert"
Favorite of mine!"
@skketchI do the same thing. I just wrote down the author Terry Black. I did not know that he wrote for Tales from the Crypt Keeper. I used to love that show as a kid.
I like hearing of new author's and books that I didn't know about and adding them to my Tbr
I am currently reading Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard...I can't seem to put it down! Such a great read!
A Clockwork Orange, by Anthony Burgess. Having a hard time following it. Hopefully, I will get the point soon. Just violent thugs so far speaking made up slang words. It’s classic, so I’ll give it a good try.
