I just finished listening to The Burgess Boys.
I love Elizabeth Strout’s work, but this one, not so much. Here’s a link to my three star review:

I guarantee you will be quoting from that book for years to come! It is truly a fascinating book.
Laura wrote: "skketch I loved The Henna Artist so much. I hope you enjoy it."Laura, yes, so far so good. The narrator for the audio version is making it quite compelling.
Laura wrote: "skketch, the description is just phenomenonal. I felt I was there the whole time."I agree. I am loving the details of the culture of India from the 1950s and I too, can picture the scenes she describes. I am midway through now and the book's got my complete attention!
Just finished the 7 Husbands of Evelyn Hugo and started the 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle- just writing this I see the humor in both the titles, but this was the order they became available to me on Libby lol
Omy, what do you think of "Eleanor Oliphant is completely fine" I keep going back and forth rather to add it to my tbr.
I’m about to start listening to the current YA Book Club book, Leah Johnson’s ‘You Should See Me in a Crown’.

Sketch, I blew it🤣🤣🤣 It’s When We Believed In Mermaids 🤣🤣
Sorry for the mistake! It seems I am unable to multitask 🤣👵🏼😂!!!!
I am finishing The Most Fun We Ever Had by Claire Lombardo. A little different then my recent reads, but interesting since I like books involving families.
Jasmine wrote: "Skketch,Thanks for the recommendation, I'm going to add it"
If you like it and enjoy quirky characters, let me also suggest The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion. That's the first of a trilogy of the same characters.
The Shadow Year by Hannah Richele. Haven't read any of her books before - overall I'm enjoying this one.

What are you reading now Jasmine
Hi Jay Chou ! I wish I could understand what you are saying. Are you able to write English? I’d love to know what you’re reading !!!
Jasmine wrote: "About the Night I think the author's name is Anut but I don't remember his last name"Let me know how it is
Vandana, the writing is splendid. the language and imagery is so imaginative and beautiful. and it's a love story unlike any I have ever heard or read about. it started a little slow but I'm thinking I'm going to give it 4 stars when it's all said and done
I’m sorry Sameet, that was meant for Jay Chou who writes in another language ( chinese maybe?). I’m so curious as to what she’s writing! It’s so beautiful!
Jasmine,The book About The Night sounds like such a good book. Thanks for sharing the info. It’s going on my tbr list 💜
Hey guys? I started reading the bookish life of Nina hill. Has anyone read it? What are your thoughts? I chose this one because it reminded me of Eleanor oliphant is completely fine.
I finished Disappearing Earth by Julia Phillips last night. Absolutely amazing read. One of my favorites of the year so far. Just got “Bel Canto” on the Kindle today and always enjoy an Anne Patchett book...
Sudden Death by David Rosenfelt, if you haven't read his Andy Carpenter books, you're depriving yourself of hilarious fun!!
