Angie and Tommy, you guys were right about
! I read it in one day. It was sooo good. I loved the illustrations too.

Yes, I can't stress enough how great this book is. It's something I'd even recommend to people who aren't big readers because of how universal the theme is, plus how short it is.
Also, great point Susan. As a giant art lover/fan of visual storytelling, I don't know how I haven't raved more about the illustrations.

My grandma has been begging me to read that series for years now.

Reading the last book in the House of Night series, Redeemed. Who else read it and what did you think?
I just finished City of Bones which I liked very much. That's another series I'll need to work on. Now I'm starting The Selection. I'm not too sure about this one but I'm going to give it a try.
Just finished
Really fun read. Better than the first book. The writing isn't the strongest, but the stories are fun and easy to get into to.Up next I'll start
and probably

. I'm glad to see that most of you liked it. :)"That's one of the few books I could not get into. Which is a shame because I really liked the idea of it a lot. Oh well, can't love them all, right? Hopefully it's more up your alley :)

I perused the first few pages, but it didn't seem worth it. But I kind of have a distaste for Cassandra Clare.

Erin and Tommy, I'm only a couple of chapters in so I can't tell much yet except there seems to be an abundance of adjectives. : )
Angie wrote: "I got to like page 385 and had to stop. I finally picked it back up in December and finished it. I'm going to attempt the next book. If I have the same issue then I'm not bothering with the series."I considered picking it back up because I love the idea a lot, but there are sooo many book I want to read, I'll probably never get back to it.

Wow, this book sounds like a struggle!
I loved the book, but I see where you guys are coming from. For me, it was the first few chapters that were slow going. But once you start it you don't want it to end, believe me. Hope you stick to it Susan.

By Ally Condie? I had problems with that, but I hope it works out for you! :)

I finished
this morning. A good, creepy comic read. Quite enjoyed it.I decided I'm gonna read
next since I got lucky to get it before people at the library started putting holds on it.

Oh! I really liked The Queen of the Tearling. It's a bit tedious, but a solid read.

I'm reading
I have heard a lot about it, positives and negatives things, so now that the series won and the group is reading it I'm giving it a try. I'm also reading
Finished: Matched - Brief: Eh. Honestly it was ok. The characters are so...bland. No 'flavor' whatsoever.
Currently Reading: Crossed
- Update: Maybe a bit better than Matched but still the characters, ugh! And Cassia bothers me SO MUCH! I don't know if I'll proceed to Reached at all. Don't bother.
Up Next: Scarlet -or- Peter and the Starcatchers
- PATS: I've heard good things about it, that it has a relation to Peter Pan which I loved!
- Scarlet: I absolutely loved Cinder, so I'm looking forward to it! I've heard mixed results about it.
Angie wrote: "I seriously need to read Scarlet myself"Giant ditto. I loved Cinder so much and just keep lagging on reading more of the series.
Andrea wrote: "@Justin. I really liked that book! Hope you enjoyed it too!"I echo this sentiment. I can't wait for the last book. Love this series.
