Thank you!
I finished The Names they Gave Us by Emery Lord last week, and I really think contemporary fans are going to love it! It's a must buy for your summer reading!
I'm on my second read-through in less than a month. I didn't catch all the Easter eggs the first time, and I couldn't stop thinking about it, so I just had to re-read!
I just finished reading A Man Called Ove. It is a very touching story about a grumpy man and the quirky people around him. If you are interested, my review is here: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...Now I'm starting Lady Midnight.
Wow I'm behind. I've read
I began to read these but I couldn't finish them because they were sooo boring and disappointments. So they don't count. I tried.
Now I'm currently reading

[boo..."I completely agree with you on Matched, it took me forever to finish it. It was really disappointing.
I just finished reading Awaken by Skye Malone and I am now reading Descend (the second book in the series). So far the series is pretty good.
Yasmine Galenorn Otherworld Series
Through the Zombie Glass I'm living this series. I was worried at first that I wouldn't because I hate zombies, they totally freak me out and give me horrible nightmares, yes I'm 34 lol. But it's just so good and the zombies are quite different than the usual so it doesn't overshadow the story itself.
I just finished
and liked it even more than
. This is a fun YA series. I've started listening to
. I haven't listened to many books on tape, but this reader does a good job!
Just finished
. With a great mix of characters, an intricate plot, and little spots of humor, I'm really enjoying this series. Moving on to

"Cress was my favorite in the series. Which says a lot because I rank that as a top 5 or 10 series, personally.

I keep on meaning to finish the Lunar series. I read the first book and really enjoyed it :)I just finished
It's a little bit younger than YA, but it is a really well written book, interesting characters, magic, turning into animals, and I thought the ecological themes were still relevant to today.
Finished The Secret Life of CeeCee Wilkes about a girl who is forced to change her identity after a traumatic and tragic event. https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Also finished The Association of Small Bombs, a psychological dive into the lives of the victims of a bombing and those who set the bomb.

Now starting Year of Yes: How to Dance It Out, Stand In the Sun and Be Your Own Person.
It's okay so far, but I will admit that hearing my friend tell me about the author (they went to high school together) is starting to make me question this...
