Yeaaaaaaa A-F tab!
We have so many people with only 1 or 2 logged on our tab. I wish we could send out a message to everyone on it to remind them to log books, but I don’t know if that’s possible/feasible/overly annoying.

That link will take you to the master spreadsheet, but it definitely isn't a requirement! Just a fun tool to help us find books and see what others are reading.
And also a vicious competition, apparently 😂

Thanks! I just added myself :)

I think the only way is to try and match them up with their plan threads and leave them a comment there, which could be time consuming. One person with 1 does have a link to their plan, but the rest just have their names to go on. Because it can be edited anonymously I don't think there's a way to message the spreadsheet users as a group.
But tab A-F doesn't seem all that far behind even with those stragglers. Go us!

I copied over the formula so it should now automatically update as you add books! I locked that section so no one can edit the formula :)

Thanks Emily!!

What I REALLY want to know is how many people are secretly competing with the person in the row next to them again this year LOL.
Fixed it, I think! It looks like someone may have cut and pasted something in the cell to another cell, and it erased the formatting that was there. Just had to fix the font and alignment.
I'm next to Ann S on the spreadsheet, and she already has 37 books read... so I'm definitely not competing against her (mostly because I'd lose). I am kind of checking on the people who are reading in order and seeing how ahead of me they are (because they are mostly all ahead of me lol)

Well I wasn't competing with those around me but now I feel like I need to step it up to catch up to both Pam and Steve! Or Sophie who is right next to me since we seem to be reading at the same pace.

Well now is your time to catch up! I’m working on books 3 and 4 of the Song of Ice and Fire series right now. It’s amazing that I can read 200 pages in one day and still feel like I’ve made no progress!
I’m also off this week so I’m not getting my usual 2 hours of audiobook a day with my commute.

I think I'm the column to the right of you, Jody!
And I hadn't been keeping tabs on anyone else, or secretly competing, but maybe now...!

I'm trying to keep in mind that I've not doubled up many books with Popsugar so I could have been nearly done too if I'd focused on ATY only.
Sara, I'm the same... Chrissy is two columns over from me and it looks like she's reading in order, so I may use her as motivation to keep reading.
Although, with my luck, she's probably just forgot to record books and she's actually done with 30 lolol.

I'm rooting for you! If it helps you feel any better, I peeked at your stats and saw that you've read more total pages than I have so far this year.
I suspect that trying to compete would make me shut down and not be able to read. Like in high school when I felt obligated to read course books.
But it’s also possible that I’m rationalizing since I’m about 20 books behind the people on either side of me 😂

Ha ha, or me 🤣 I'm not getting anywhere and I've just started reading A Game of Thrones again so it'll be a while till my next update!

It's all about enjoying the books! I'm on a mission to catch up, but I plan on fully enjoying my books in the process. It helps that this one is my only challenge, so I can read side reads if I'm not in the mood for whatever I have planned next.

Ok it is ALMOST time to start working on the 2020 list and I am PUMPED. So excited, in fact, that I've updated our spreadsheet to prepare for the list-making festivities.
Last year, I had a tab that tracked voting (top prompts, bottom prompts, close calls and polarizing). I also had a Plans tab and a Recs tab, plus a Rejects tab for those of us interested in doing a Rejects challenge.
I'm thinking of leaving off the Recs tab this year... I feel like there were only a handful of people who used it, and the plans tab had plenty of suggestions for books that could cover that.
Any disagreement? Any suggestions on how to better the process this year? Just want to make sure we are using the spreadsheet efficiently and effectively!
