Victoria | 259 comments I just finished re-reading the Daughter of Smoke & Bone (Daughter of Smoke & Bone, #1) by Laini Taylor series because I found a box set for sale and bought it for my personal library, and I enjoyed it just as much the second time around. Now I am reading Nemesis (Project Nemesis, #1) by Brendan Reichs and it is good and moving along, so this week is a book win for me :D

Kateb | 55 comments oh the embarrassment , oh the shame. I am getting so sick and tired of having to double click on all of these pictures of books to find out the author. Is it old age? Is it trying to read on a tiny phone screen. Who knows?

But still I have picked up some really good suggestions of who to read so thank you little book people

message 605: by Mika Michelle (new)

Mika Michelle It's been a while since I've been on here but I have still been reading. Since my last post I've read
5/5 Soldiers of Fortune (Miss Fortune Mystery, #6) by Jana Deleon ,
5/5 I've Got My Eyes on You by Mary Higgins Clark ,
5/5 Where Are You Now? by Mary Higgins Clark ,
3/5 Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury ,
4/5 The Battle of the Labyrinth (Percy Jackson and the Olympians, #4) by Rick Riordan ,
4/5 Inception (The Marked, #1) by Bianca Scardoni , and
3/5 Cracked Kingdom (The Royals, #5) by Erin Watt .

The mindblowing best reads over the past few months are One of Us Is Lying by Karen M. McManus and The Wife by Alafair Burke . I absolutely LOVED these 2 books. 5/5 for both.

Now I'm reading The Wife Between Us by Greer Hendricks and The Dragon Heir (The Heir Chronicles, #3) by Cinda Williams Chima .

Teresa | 606 comments I finally finished reading the three novels I was assigned to read as a judge for a writing contest. I learned a lot from reading them so that's good. Now I can get back to reading for fun. I'm almost halfway through Wiccan Wars (Wiccan Wars #1) by Heather Marie Adkins . Witches are my favorite paranormal characters to read about.

Natalia Heaney | 5 comments I'm reading The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E. Smith mainly because I've been in a very similar position to the book's heroine in the past.
I hope the British characters aren't too badly stereotyped!

Finished The Dragon Factory (Joe Ledger, #2) by Jonathan Maberry and currently listening to Deadmen Walking (Deadman's Cross, #1) by Sherrilyn Kenyon . A little different from her other writing but ok none the less.

message 617: by Victoria (new)

Victoria | 259 comments I have had a bit of a reading slump lately. I have had a couple of DNF and one was a Did Not Start, but today I picked this one off my TBR list and the library had it so I thought I would give it a go. Every Breath (Every, #1) by Ellie Marney
The cover is really bad, but the book is really good. Kind of a Sherlock Holmes, murder mystery, an eccentric, bit mysterious, bad boy genius, and an intelligent, interesting girl pair up to solve the crime with a little romance thrown in although so far it isn't really the focus, and that is what is making it good. I am hopeful that this will be a finish and at least a 4 star.. thinking positive :D

Finished Guilded Secrets by B.C. Morin and Caraval (Caraval, #1) by Stephanie Garber which I really enjoyed. In the middle of Uninvited Living Loved When You Feel Less Than, Left Out, and Lonely by Lysa TerKeurst and going to start Legendary (Caraval, #2) by Stephanie Garber and maybe finally The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern which has been on my list forever...Caraval has inspired me.

LOL I feel like all the good ones I have yes! I just tried Urban Shaman (Walker Papers, #1) by C.E. Murphy Its a bit Native and Celtic Mythology is the magic is different - first book has serious info dump ... I'll finish it at some point but not rushing!

I started Stray (Shifters, #1) by Rachel Vincent again Had to reread the first book to get the feel of the story again so next is Rogue (Shifters, #2) by Rachel Vincent

I also got Grave Witch (Alex Craft, #1) by Kalayna Price Sounds like a good series also!

There are a few other series I need to try yet also so hopefully I find at least 1 or 2 good series ... Fingers crossed!

Teresa | 606 comments I finished up Wiccan Wars (Wiccan Wars #1) by Heather Marie Adkins and then decided for some random reason to read Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell of all things. It's one of those books you like but don't like at the same time. The writing is amazing, the author is quite talented. But the book itself is so awfully racist. I've seen the movie before but the movie doesn't do the book justice.
