For the GMGR Series Challenge, I'm signing up to finish two MG series this year:
Shadows from the Past by Wendy Leighton-Porter
I've read as afar as number 6 The Shadow of Camelot of 9 in the series so far. [finished nine of nine now]
I'm dithering over whether to add...
Wrinkle in Time Quintet by L'Engle, Madeleine I've read 1 of the 5 to date.
Looking down the rest of my list - I've got a lot of first books of MG series listed, but my main aim will be to finish (or at least catch up with) one of more than six crime/historical/thriller/fantasy series I've been reading for years!

I can't remember why I quit reading after book 2 in the Percy Jackson series.
I think I will go ahead and finish that series, so, 3 more books starting with

Otherwise I don't think I have any other middle grade fiction series as I usually read standalone books. (well, unless a book I read that was a standalone is now a series.. lol Guess I should check)
For starters, I want to finish a handful of trilogies that I began during 2017. On a slightly more ambitious note, I've been meaning to tackle some longer sets. As progress is made, I'll likely add other duologies, trilogies, quartets, chronicles, sagas, cycles, etc.
Sisters Grimm by Michael Buckley [9 of 9] - FINISHED!
Serafina by Roberty Beatty [3 of 3] - FINISHED!
The Vengekeep Prophecies by Brian Farrey [3 of 3] - FINISHED!
100 Cupboards by N. D. Wilson [3 of 3] - FINISHED!
The Luck Uglies by Paul Durham [3 of 3] - FINISHED!
The League of Princes by Christopher Healy [3 of 3] - FINISHED!
The Very Nearly Honorable League of Pirates by Caroline Carlson [3 of 3] - FINISHED!
Zenta & Matsuzo Mysteries by Lensey Namioka [finished 2 of 6]
Sisters Grimm by Michael Buckley [9 of 9] - FINISHED!

I think I'll take on The Shadows of the Past (Wendy Leighton-Porter. I've only read the first one, and have something like #4 on my Nook, but not the ones in between!
I'll also catch up with Ben Zackheim and the Shirley Link books. I've read the first 3 of I think 5.

And then I'll tackle the Secret series by Pseudonymous Bosch. I've read the first two:

Both series have a tongue-in-cheek noir vibe that makes them pretty fun to read. The Lemony Snicket series is a bit more sophisticated, which means I may have to reread so I remember all the clues and details from the first three books before I finish it up!
Thought of another! I read the first two books in the Swindle series by Gordon Korman to help me finish my 2017 A-Z challenge, and I enjoyed them immensely! They were not anything like what I was expecting, in a good way! It looks like there are eight in the series, so that should keep me busy! Here's what I've read so far:

Track series by Jason Reynolds. I read

in one sitting and would have already read #2

The Secrets we Keep by Nova Weetman.
Again, I read #1 in a single sitting - touched my heart in a big way!

I look forward to #2

A Stella Montgomery Intrigue

So far only

just finished #2

Seeds of America: I have read

and will read

and

#2 Forge in Seeds of America completed. Only #3 Ashes to complete this great Historical thriller trilogy.
I've read #1 Into the Wild

Just finished Fire and Ice - my first completed in the series challenge! **** I found it really engaging and loved the way themes around friendship, trust, loyalty and being different were dealt with.

Great series! I've read the first 3. I don't think #4 is out yet?

Book #4 is due for a September 2018 release.

Yes, I've really enjoyed spending time with Mo & Dale and all the other quirky characters in Tupelo Landing :-)

Yeah, I read some that I wasn't that big on just so I'd know what the boys were reading (I drew the line when they were in HS and reading Game of Thrones :) ).

Finished: Michael Vey byRichard Paul Evans (finished 7 of 7)

Finished: Brotherband Chronicals by John Flanagan (finished 7 of 7, should be an eighth by the end of the year, hopefully)

Wings of Fire by Tui Sutherland (6 of 11)

I have about 10 other series I want to read and haven't started yet. I will add them when I start them.
Percy Jackson and the Olympians
I've wanted to finish this series forever. I read the first one when it came out and haven't read any of the others.

And, I'm reading Franny K. Stein to my other daughter. I'm not sure these qualify as middle grade, but since they are chapter books and the main character is in third grade, I'm going to say they fit. Feel free to let me know if I'm wrong.

There are 8 in this series. We have already read the first four.

The Willow Falls Series by Wendy Mass. I have only gotten to read

The Emily Windsnap Series by Liz Kessler. I read the first one a few years ago and haven't gotten a chance to read the other ones yet.
Hotel For Dogs Series by Lois Duncan. I remember loving the first two books when I was a young kid and being disappointed that my local library didn't have the last one! I can't wait to re-read them and also get to finally finish out one of my childhood series.
I've now finished the first series on my list, the Shadows from the Past series by Wendy Leighton-Porter
I wholeheartedly recommend these to anyone who enjoys history, or anyone who wants to introduce their kids to some key historical moments. The story features modern-day twins, their friend, and a cat called Max. The twins parents have disappeared presumed lost in a flying accident, but the twins discover they have been trapped in a time machine because they forgot to take the key with them. So the kids set out to find them....
The first in the series is The Shadow of Atlantis

You are doing much better than I am! I've read one book from the Shirley Link series, and that's it! I'd better get cracking. I even have #2 from the Shadows of the Past on my ereader. Just need to read it. Right now I'm trying to get through some of the actual paper books I have, though.

Book 9 is on its way for me at the library, and I've requested Book 10 as well (on audio. We're supposed to have 3 copies of the book in stock but three are missing and one is way overdue!)
Update 17/11/18: I've just finished Book 9:

I shelved my attempt to read the rest of the Wrinkle in Time series. Maybe next year. So I’ll only be finishing the one MG series this year. I’ve done another four grown-up ones, though!

Well, that's pretty impressive.

Purpose: to finish those series we've started, and recommend them to other like-minded readers.
What to do: Make a sign up post below, listing each series (series title) and number of books in it, that you want to complete in 2018. Also note how far into the series you are when you sign up.
For example, I've read the first of a Percy Jackson and a Magnus Chase, and I might add the Magnus Chase series, which currently numbers 3. I will definitely add the Shadows From the Past series by Wendy Leighton-Porter, and I'm on number 6 of possibly 9.
YOU DON'T HAVE TO ADD MORE THAN ONE SERIES.
The aim, though, is to finish all those you do add!
For more ideas, take a look at this challenge on the blogosphere - if you have non-MG series you want to finish you could add those there. http://celebrityreaders.com/2018-fini...
UPDATING: update your series progress with a link to your Goodreads review, and/or a comment of your own.
Good luck!
