Krystal (krystallee6363) | 2304 comments Hey Brenda can you pretty please do your fancy cover colour test to tell me if this is Emerald enough?! :) Blue Lily, Lily Blue (The Raven Cycle, #3) by Maggie Stiefvater

I wouldn't have thought so but my copy just arrived in the post and it's looking very green :D

I'm surprised at the results Krystal - http://labs.tineye.com/color/7c2376fa...

5 different sorts of green = 58.5% green. BUT the criteria does say emerald cover which my interpretation of means 100% or close to. If you can find something else with more green, please do so - if you're struggling, go for it :)

Quite a fascinating little test, isn't it!

message 306: by Kathryn (new)

Kathryn Woods You know the feeling of anticipation when you are so desperately looking forward to reading a book, only to feel let down by the actual experience of reading it? I've had that with 'Lincoln in the Bardo' these last few days. Was thinking 2 stars but gave 3 as I appreciate that Saunders has taken a novel approach to tell a tale. However I was hoping for much more about the Lincolns. Did not feel much like historical fiction at all really.

It took a little while to get used the shift in narrator for each chapter but once the connections became more clear I enjoyed it. The overall effect really highlights how lives intertwine and no-one's story is complete without a piece from someone else.
