I've got a couple of grandbabies here and what I do is whatever book I'm reading I'll read to them.

I grew up with a rural one down the road so we'd head down once every few months and watch double headers out of the back of the truck. Great memories, especially with the massive gust of wind out of nowhere during Twister (unplanned).

We used to go every couple of weeks when I was a teenager as they were still popular back then. Now I looked over the list and it didn't have the one that is not far from where my mom lives so there is more than 25.

I’m 31, and I grew up in Springfield, MO with a drive-in about 45 minutes away in Aurora. It was very popular, and so much fun. As far as I know it’s still there. I want to think there was another one a little bit further away, but not sure. Now I live 45 minutes from Atlanta, GA and there’s one there, we just haven’t checked it out yet.

This one is an excellent read about a chef who was born in Ethiopia, raised in Sweden after being adopted by a Swedish family, rose to prominence as a chef in New York and at this point in the book, after thinking he was an orphan finally met his real father. It's fascinating and very well written

The Robin Hood Hacker Series: Robin Hood Hacker Collection
So this book has both, the Hacker who hacks companies and criminal organizations to give the money to charity and gives her partner Birthday presents like meeting his idol on a train for a private conversation is open for elements of humor at every turn.
The horror aspect is a Secret Society using 'Biological' weapons to create mass death to cull the masses of humanity so that the elite can take over as they should.
It occasionally becomes difficult to suspend the disbelief, but overall it is a fun read.
So one down, five hundred to go. LOL.

The TBR Cleanup Challenge is back by popular demand! So, for those who have not participated in a challenge like this before, the goal is to take the books you want to read, plug them into the areas they fit, and finally make some progress on your TBR.

which I'm working on (I've read the Sherlock Holmes stories, the professor Challenger novels, Micah Clarke, and am about to start on The White Company). The complete Mark Twain took over 2 years of bedtime reading, so I expect this one to do the same

Ummm, am I reading that correctly? It looks like that digital only books is 11,000 pages. I don't think Sarah has a category for that in the owned books challenge.

I bought the B&N leather bound collectors edition during one of their 1/2 off sales!
