Continuing to work my way through The Count of Monte Cristo and The Iliad.
Starting As You Like It by William Shakespeare and True Grit by Charles Portis.
Started yesterday at the seaside The Couple Next Door - creepy, I need a break from mysteries on child abduction!!! - and this morning The Night Watchman, that is really catching me!!!!

Having thoroughly enjoyed this author's previous books I hope my expectations aren't too high.

Being a Nebraska native (grew up in a house just a block away from the Lincoln Highway), and also a fan of A Gentleman in Moscow, I’m also looking forward to reading this one.

Also reading the next Witccher book, Blood of Elves and Mansfield Park, among others.

The genre had me a little nervous but Mr Towles excellent writing has soothed away all my worries.

Started yesterday late afternoon - so only a few pages before dinner! - The Reading List
that if I remember rightly someone here suggested to me.
Too early to say something about it...

Someone at my in-person book club suggested this book as well, so I’ll be interested to see what you think.
