Agatha Award-winning author Daryl Wood Gerber writes NEW Fairy Garden Mysteries as well as the nationally bestselling Cookbook Nook Mysteries and French Bistro Mysteries.

As Avery Aames, she pens the popular Cheese Shop Mysteries.

In addition, Daryl also writes suspense including the well-received Aspen Adams novels of suspense and stand-alone titles, DAY OF SECRETS and GIRL ON THE RUN.

Fun tidbit: as an actress, Daryl appeared in “Murder, She Wrote.” She loves to cook, and she has a frisky Goldendoodle named Sparky who keeps her in line!

Sometimes we talk about why I write food-themed mysteries or what inspired me to write this particular book. To answer that question, I chose to write about the French Bistro mysteries because my agent suggested the theme, and once I decided to set it in Napa Valley at a tiny bistro that reminded me of the bistro where my husband proposed...the rest was history. Keller didn’t laugh. He was scowling at Quade, who was yet again approaching Naomi.

Hi, Rafael, thanks for the note. It depends on which kinds of books you like to read. I write cozy mysteries as well as suspense. If suspense, try DESOLATE SHORES. If cozy mysteries, try FINAL SENTENCE. And if you're open to reading mystical mystery involving a fairy garden store owner and her sidekick fairy sleuth, try A SPRINKLING OF MURDER. Have fun!
