What are you doing right now? Part 2

I have been offline for a while due to Passover and the fact that after a day working from home I need a rest from my laptop.
Instead I have been watching the operas from the Met as well as some ballet and operas from The Royal Opera House and the Bolshoi.
Luckily both DH and I are still working. He has to go in but I am working from home. And there is no over-time (which has many pros as well as cons.)
DS is still on his army base. Just as they started to talk about letting them go home for short breaks they discovered one of the new recruits is infected so they are now all in quarantine.
DS sent us a message late last night so we wouldn't see it first on the news.
DD is out of quarantine but more or less trapped in the house. Although there seem to be so many needed for Corona related positions it is not in this area. If you don't have a job to go to or shopping to do you are only allowed 100m from your home.
So she now accompanies DH on shopping trips instead of me.
I am finding that working from home is really tiring and I get even less done in the evening than I did before. Also without my commute I can't seem to find time to read!!

A thock soup with short pasta - better if made with egg, fresh, but if you don't have any, a normal short pasta can go - with cheackpeases Gorgeous!

It's not Sanish. It's Italian!!!! Manzoni is our XVIII century most important novelist - with his The Betrothed - but wrote also some poetry and theatre plays

Congratulations! Perhaps next year you can do something extra special after missing out this year :)

Hope you had a nice anniversary at home. Do you take a trip every anniversary? I've never been to Whitby but my sister says it is beautiful. Sorry you had to miss out this year on Mablethorpe.

Happy June! Let's hope it brings sunshine and we see the back of the coronavirus!

Hey Milly, yes we generally go away somewhere in the UK on our anniversary - quite often it's Whitby but not always: one of our favourite coastal towns within easy reach of our home.

Yes, we're getting there as well. Hairdressers are opening up next so I have an appointment already. Haven't heard anything about going back to work but I know some departments are getting so we shouldn't be much longer, I think I will have to get a mask for travelling though.

I have noticed an odd commenter on some of my reviews. The account goes by the name of Ritademond. This account posts the same comment on of their reviews, so be cautious. I was going to block but changed my mind in case they find this group and start spamming the threads but if anyone sees odd comments, please let me know by messaging me directly if you can.
Thank you.
Thank you.

On Friday DH joined me as I watched season 3 and got totally hooked. We ended up bingeing season 3, 4 and 5 over the weekend.
It is really good.

We didn't finish the bingeing until late Saturday but the Met were streaming an opera I really wanted to see and they only have each performance on for 24hrs so I ended up staying awake up past 2am!! It was worth it.
I'm at the momento finishing to prepare things to bring with me to work: I've been working from home since March, and today I'll back to my office for a couple o hours to set domething with other collegues...
I can't say I'm not happy, to see some new faces!!!!

Happy Fall! It's looking like it will be a quiet one with the new restrictions for covid, so reading will be even more important than ever! And lots of lovely nature walks now it's cooler.

I have been venturing out for a few nature walks lately - the weather has been lovely lately!

Yes, I'm curious too!
My mom had an anecdote about the word fagioli. She and my father were visiting Italy and she ordered 'fagioli' ice cream trying to get strawberry! She liked telling that story so I have always known that fagioli meant beans.
