2. September is Healthy Aging month. Read a book which is at least ten years old.

First published and set in 1974, I really enjoyed this well written mystery. It highlighted for me the social and technological changes that have occurred in my lifetime. No mobile phones, No reliable DNA testing for paternity till the 1980s. Only Diners, American express and some store credit cards.

As many of us are, Phrynne. =o)
I've been having trouble remembering what has been happening in previous series books at present, of which I'm none too happy about.
So as an answer to the problem I've decided to read only a few series at a time, reading them close together. It works well except that there are so many books I'm wanting to read that are the first in a series!

Remembering anything is a problem these days. That's why I prefer series where you get to know the lead characters really well but each book is its own separate story. Most crime series are like that.

That's a good point, Phrynne, thank you. I hadn't thought of it that way. I think my fibromylagia is causing something called 'fibro fog' which makes it a little hard to keep small details straight. We made a small change in my medicine so it should help.
I'll have to remember that! No pun intended =o)
