It is fun, and since I read so many series, almost every book I read fits somewhere. I'm not feeling as hopeless about this as I was before I re-read the directions and realized that we can combine books to reach the higher numbers. I didn't think I would *ever read all the #8 and #9 books necessary to finish this LOL

I do have one question, though, jingles : Can we combine as many books as we need to equal #9, for example, or are we only allowed to combine two?

So I'm making minimal progress using TBR numbers for this challenge. I'm going to erase what little progress I've made and start over using series numbers. However, I'm going to use the books I've read in the past 3 years since the challenge started. I hope that's okay.

Yep, that's just fine with me, Sam. I have a very difficult time doing anything type of challenge that involves my TBR. It should be so simple, but for whatever reason, it isn't .... at least not for me.

I'm discovering this about myself, too. I have found that I don't like challenges that require a certain number from my TBR. But I do fine with challenges for books added to TBR during certain years or months, it's just the number I don't seem to do well with.

I don't do well with anything connecting my TBR at all. It's just crazy. Even with just one simple task....something like "sort your TBR by author and read a book from the first page"... I can't even seem to handle that well. I leave those tasks to the very, very last to complete. It's like I hate my TBR or something. Lol

Those are hard for me, too, which is why I usually try to knock out those list-specific tasks first. Doesn't always work out, but I try :)
