25.11 Sarah E’s Treasure Hunting

Opt. 1 Which Direction? = I chose North, and for a one word title beginning with “N,” I read Nose by James Conaway.

Opt 4. It’s a Book! = # 105 on the list (p.2) is The Rapture of Canaan by Sheri Reynolds. The book concerns a religious cult in the present day American South. I loved the savagery of the book, but I would leave in its place something a little more spiritually uplifting:

Optional: Leave a book in the treasure chest to replace the one you read. A couple of posts ago, I mistakenly used a book incorrectly for a task. I will not get to count it in this challenge, so I’ll have to consider it an extra read, but it’s written by a friend of mine and is definitely worthwhile, and definitely spiritually uplifting, so I will leave it here in the treasure chest as my current favorite:

The Making of an Ordinary Saint: My Journey from Frustration to Joy with the Spiritual Disciplines by Nathan Foster.
