Option 1: Kids, teens, adults - pretty much everyone participates in the Summer Reading Club for the prizes. Read a book by a single author whose first and last name initials can be found in the phrase "IN IT FOR THE BOOKS." I read The Patriots by Sana Krasikov, whose initials, "S" and "K" are found in the phrase. This is a *****Big BOOK******* at 538 pages.
Option 4: This year, the adult summer reading is actually the most fun! We designed a little mini SRC-esque challenge: 5 different bookmarks, each with 5 different challenge tasks, like "Read a biography" or "Read a book with a blue cover." Adults read their books, write the titles on their bookmarks, and return them to be entered in a grand prize drawing. Read a book by a single author whose first and last name initials can be found in "GRAND PRIZE WINNER".
I read Young Jane Young by Gabrielle Zevin, whose initials, "G" and "Z" are found in the phrase noted.
This book was 300 pages, so I read 838, well over 600 pp.
