Pick For Me challenge

It's the dude on the left!"
Both of these models are not attractive at all to me.

*whispers lovingly to Leslie* hello book twin
;-)
You can deny it all you want...but, you will never convince me you are not my book twin.
Ha! LOL! OK, I'm ready! The Bird and the Sword it is, Ela will be thrilled *giggle*.
now, I have to make my decision about Tessa... this is hard, I have actually clicked on every single one of her books in the list to try and help me make my decision and I'm more confused now than I was to start with!

"Kidding Leslie...let me pick your real book now"
ha!

I took Comfort Food off my TBR after some friends did a buddy read....NOPE JUST FUCK NO

Michelle, don't stress...I'm happy to try whatever you choose from my list.

I can pick now.
Ela --- rev up your squealing engine
Grey, my pick for you is
*drumroll babatabambatabam*

YES WHAT TOOK YOU SO LONG? I WAS READY TO JUMP INTO GR AND PRETEND TO BE YOU AND PICK

Bev, of course I do. That has been an eventually book. That's why I've owned it for like five years now and haven't read it yet. :D
Fabi, that was one of the two I'd have gone with! Though the whole list looks good, you know that and Court of Thorn and Roses would have had me torn.

Nope, me neither ! But since one of them was a cave dude on Transcendence I could ignore him....

Yes! That's why I hardly ever mention it. Whenever one of her books is mentioned or released, I just quietly go about my own business. Head down. Ashamed.

If you could, I think you'd lock us all in a room and not let us out until we ALL read that one.

Yup, I knew that. *pats self on back*

*whispers in Grey's ear, The Infamous Ellen James* it's so funny

so cute and funny! we love books!

I see you've met the bitch ho
Hey, you audible people? It says something about sharing my book, but also something about it being the recipient's first book? Im not sure I understand. Can I just loan it or does it have to be to someome who has never had audibl before?

I see you've met the bitch ho"
Sure indeedy! What a cunt...but I don't know much yet...

Me me me!

I've always wondered about that too bev. I have no idea. It's been years, but I think I remember being able to lend my books out through Audible when I had a membership.
My best guess is that it means you can loan the book and don't worry if you're loaning it out to someone without a membership because their first audible listen is free anyways.
Ok, yeah its confusing.
Ela, do you really want to listen to it? I loved it.
I can try sending it.

Wait, let's think about this, what book? I got excited when you mentioned "listen". I have the app but do I need to purchase something too? Like a membership?
Lol. I don't know.
It's confusing.
Nay, stop laughing and help.

I do SO wish I could lend some of these! Anything by Blake Crouch or Linwood Barclay, I have a bunch of both of theirs, and I have most of The Hollows series--Marguerite Gavin is an awesome narrator! Ooh and besides Dark Places just being an awesome book, it had both a male and a female narrator who both did a great job!
I also have the 2 newest Chicagoland Vamp audiobooks but I can't stand the way the girl does Ethan's voice--makes him sound like Buffy's boyfriend, Biff, at the couuuntry club.
Hey! For those of us who love to listen to audiobooks and who are always looking for great books and great narrators, we should open a thread! I know the main thing I look for that's VERY hard to find is books where the male narrator does ALL the male parts and vice versa, like the Fever books.
So, if I am understanding it then if its your first book, Ela then should be no charge.
Nay, Lin Manuel Miranda was amazing. Seriously. The different emotions he could put in his voice like humor and panic, just great. I started recognizing the different characters' voices.

I don't have Amy picking for anyone!
Grey, I have you pickin for two. Sorry to disrupt your plans, but I have to give one to Amy.
Stupid stupid me.

ROFL That's just WRONG!
And if I send it it is now yours too. And you can send it on to someone ELSE!!! Do you know what this means? Everyone can listen to this book.
Yeah, I know.
Yeah, I know.

*huff*
I hate making mistakes.

Bev--thanks! I put that on my Audible wishlist. I'm probably going to re-up my membership later this year if I'm able to start doing some home assembly for a little extra cash. I push these little rings onto these little screws, 4000/box, and then I get $80/box. It'd be impossibly repetitive and boring if I didn't listen to audiobooks while I was doing it!
