McKensie and Lara

Mae shivered running her hands up his stern chest "protection..." She reminded not wanting to lose control just yet.
Damon smiled and kissed her cheek "you have a very cool tattoo though that's all unique, just you!"

Torch nodded. "Got it..." he said, reaching to the drawer in the nightstand to grab it. "We don't have to worry about kids if we don't want to." He promised her, kissing her cheek once.
Taylor brightened then, smiling. "I do!" She agreed, splashing a little.

Mae smiled and turned so she was on top "good....I enjoy this far too much!"
Damon chuckled "water stays in the tub!"

Torch smiled, his hands moving from her sides over her back up to her hair with played with. "You and me both baby." he whispered, pulling her down for a kiss.
Taylor looked sheepish. "Sorry daddy..."
Lexi had finished cleaning up downstairs, and decided to watch some tv to pass the time.

Mae stopped hearing Zach screaming and then glass crashing "Torch!"
Damon smiled and helped her out of the tub drying her off with a fluffy towel.

Torch was up in an instant, running out of the room to find out what had happened.
Taylor giggled, shivering because it was cold. The second she was dried, she put on her kid sized house coat and ran out of the bathroom to go play. "Thanks for the bath Daddy!" She called as she left.

Mae followed and rushed into the room scared "Zach?!" But the room was empty and things were flying around.
Damon chuckled and sat by Lexi watching the show with her "she's getting big...she wants fangs..."

Torch looked around, stunned. It looked like there was no gravity in the room, and yet, where was Zach? Torch couldn't see him anywhere...
Lexi looked up and smiled when Damon sat down. "Taylor?" She asked. "Actually wants fangs?" she asked in disbelief. She found that hard to believe.

Mae frowned and felt around till she heard Zach giggling and as he reappeared the stuff fell to the ground.
Damon nodded "since both you and Ash have them...."

Torch frowned. "And just what do you think you were doing mister?" He asked.
Lexi sighed, shaking her head. "That girl. Wish I had her optimism." She said, tugging at a strand of her hair. She sighed and leaned back. "I don't know why she'd ever want to be one of us..."

Mae picked up the giggling kid "I hiding!" He made the books start flying from the shelf.
Damon sighed "she doesn't see anything negative....pure positive giggling light!"

Torch shook his head. "I do believe we have a little rascal on our hands." He smiled. "Zach, stop making messes! You can hide, but all this stuff everywhere! That's not very nice. Can you clean it up please?"
Lexi nodded, smiling a little. "That's both a blessing and a curse. She'll be very gullible." She shook her head. "We have one confusing family."
((heading to bed. Bye!))

Zach shook his head "only mess no clean!" He explained showing that he could only propel the objects not repel them back or have any real control. He disappeared again and Mae shook her head "you got this?"
Damon nodded not knowing what to say, it didn't feel like a family anymore...Ash didn't feel like his daughter and Lexi...she was far from wife as one would be...

Torch was a little surprised. What sort of power was that? Messmaking? He nodded. "Yeah. I'll go find him." He promised. His eyes flashed gold, so that he could see not only in the dark, but also detect thermal energy. He followed Zach's heat trail out of the room and down the hall.
Lexi bit her lip, that sinking feeling hitting her again. She looked over at Damon hesitantly. "Are you sure you want this Damon?" She asked softly. "Because its alright if you think it wont work. I'll understand. Ash and I could... I don't know... get a house in the neighborhood and we could visit often if that would be better." She offered, trying to keep any emotion off her features.

Damon stopped looking over at her "I don't want that at all...it's just going to take a lot of time to repair things...but, this is your home and we need you here..."

Lexi nodded, looking back at the tv for a moment. Then she looked back at him. "We've both changed... maybe its better to move back into this slowly? As if we're starting over?" She asked. Maybe if they did that, instead of jumping into things again, they could do things right this time.

Damon sighed not knowing what to do, he shrugged his shoulders helplessly "I don't know...I don't think I'll be able to forgive myself for what I did...no matter what we try..."

Lexi looked down, feeling guilty. He felt bad, and she felt bad. They both felt guilt from what had happened, so what was keeping them from forgiving eachother and starting over? Lexi moved closer to him, slipping her hand in his, squeezing it gently. "I forgive you, you know. Even if you don't forgive yourself."

Damon brought her hand to his lips and kissed it softly "thank you...I want to try a spell that's very advanced and I don't know if it will work but I want to try..."

Lexi smiled a little, her heart warming a tiny bit. Then she frowned. "Spell?" She asked, curious. "What sort of spell?"

Mae sighed and pulled her into her arms stroking her hair back "London..." She didn't even know what to say to help or counsel "he'll cool down...you know how he and his father gets..."
Damon smiled "a rewind spell, it takes us back to where we went wrong and let's is redo it rewarding the memory of the other time...we could even go back to the vamp time!"

London hugged her mother. "but it's still my fault. He probably hates me now." she said miserably.
Lexi raised her eyebrows. "That's possible?" She asked. "So... Ashlynn wouldn't be born. I wouldn't be a vamp... we never would have broken up... and we would forget?" It sounded oh so lovely, but a small feeling in her gut told her that it wasn't right to do this somehow, that it would almost be like killing Ashlynn, just to forget. "And what are the risks?"

Mae frowned and kissed her forehead "James would never hate you! You are his Loo...just give him space and time and he'll come back!"
Damon realized they wouldn't have Ashlynn and that made him sad "the risks are we alter the space time continuum..." He saw her face and shook his head "I'm teasing, only risk is that we get stuck not knowing which one was real..." He put his hands on her shoulders "we could still have Ashlynn...she just wouldn't be a vamp..."

London sighed softly, shaking her head. "And what if he doesn't?" She asked softly. "What if he decides he's better off without us?"
Lexi looked shocked when he said they would alter the space time continuum, but she relaxed when he smiled. Lexi nodded slowly, thinking about that. "So... we could remember one or the other, and maybe not know which was real? Not know whether or not we were dreaming?" She asked.

Mae sighed "we can't live in the 'what if' world...we'd drive ourselves mad! Let's just hope that he does come back, he loves us I know that without a doubt...it's just hard now that you both are grown up..."
Damon nodded "like a constant limbo..." He sighed wondering if it was worth it. "I want us to feel true happiness again, no stress or pain...no guilt or anguish...the way it was..."

London nodded, hugging Mae. "I'm not grown up... not really." She shrank herself into her seven year old self and sighed. "I feel like this." She said honestly. She wished she could just stay this way forever. Growing up was too complicated.
Lexi nodded, pressing her lips together. "I want that too Damon... but maybe its better that we remember. Remember the way things could be. I am much happier that we are together again, now that I know how much it hurts to be alone."

Mae smiled and cradled her in her arms and kissed her head "but there are many positives of growing up honey...like Mark!"
Damon sighed "I need things to change Lex...I can't change now, I need to start over...."

London nodded. "Yeah, but there's so many responsibilities, and chores, and... ugh..."
Lexi nodded, looking down. "Turn it back then, if you think it will really make you happy Damon." She paused then. "But what about everyone else? What if, when they relive this, their lives end up being horrible? What if we doom the Miltons to a fate like that?" She asked nervously.

Mae laughed "those don't go away even if you shrink your age..."
Damon sighed "your right...but what if we could just change the fact that you are a vamp? That would change everything else!"

London sighed. "I wish they would! I wish I could just stay at home and do nothing, all day long. That would be great."
Lexi bit her lip. So he thought of her vampiness as a problem too, the only reason all of this happened. And it was true. And she hated herself for it. Looking down she nodded slowly. "I could find a spell to change me back, if you want." she offered softly.

Mae laughed "get pregnant and you can enjoy that...any other time isn't an option my friend!"
Damon sighed realizing he was hurting her "only if...you want to though...I will still love you either way."

London smiled sheepishly. "You know. I just might." She challenged, grinning. "Just so I can lay around all day. And hey. I love Mark, so why not?"
Lexi didn't look up. She felt like he had just added in the last sentence because he felt bad, and not because he meant it. But she didn't blame him. He would be the only one if he actually loved a monster. "No. It's ok. I'll find some way." She promised. She would, for him. She only wanted him to be happy. And he obviously wouldn't be if she stayed like this. She wouldn't either. "I'll be right back. I'm going to see if my people have any spells." She smiled halfheartedly and disappeared in a flash.

Mae tried to stay composed but she couldn't "I will put you in a chastity belt if I have to and throw away the key!"
Damon tried to explain but he couldn't, he sighed feeling even worse. Nothing felt right anymore...

London paled. "You wouldn't..." She said, eyeing her mother nervously.
Lexi immediately searched through the potion books in the library on her planet. It didn't take her long to find what she was looking for. A vampire antidote. There were a couple side effects listed in the warning section at the bottom of the page, but Lexi ignored those, just grabbing the bottle named and heading back to earth. "Got it." She announced, smiling happily.

Mae smirked "don't make me young lady....keep your legs shut and your womb empty got it?"
Damon frowned and took the bottle "what is it?...what are the side effects Lexi." He was terrified of losing her!

London folded her arms in a childish manner and grumbled, huffing heavily, but she nodded anyways.
Lexi lunged for it, trying to get it back. She wasn't going to go through all that just to have him stop her! "Nothing..." She mumbled nervously, obviously lying. "Ok... well my body might reject it. But there will always be risks. This is what you want isn't it? I just want you to be happy." She said, seriously, tears of frustration gathering in her eyes as she tried to get the bottle back from him.

Damon pulled her close, tears in his own eyes "I can't lose you! Not again!" He said forcefully and took the bottle and sighed "I want this...but I can't lose you..."

London grabbed her phone. "Its James! " she exclaimed, leaping up and flying towards the adress.
Lexi bit her lip, looking up into his eyes which were incredibly close at the moment. "Then I guess you'll habe to decide which is worse, taking that risk, or having me like this forever after." She said softly, her body trembling a little in his arms, not from fear of him, but from fear that they would not be happy... that she could not make him happy.

Damon swallowed and shakily handed her the bottle, he put all of his good wishes into having it work.

Lexi took the bottle, her fingers curling around it. Some part of her stung, that Damon would rather risk her life than risk being with a vamp forever. But she could not fault him for that. She hated herself. Unscrewing the cap, she didnt stop to think before she downed the contents. Immediately her limbs seemed to fill with lead and fire and she groaned, slumping like a rag doll.

Damon caught her and instantly regretted his action, how much more was he going to hurt the ones he loved?! He laid her on the couch tearfully watching her "Lex...please be ok..."

Torch found Zach eventually and scooped him up, tickling him before smiling softly. "Why all the messes little guy?"
Lexi's whole body burned as her blood slowly started the change from vamp back to normal. She curled up, crying. "It hurts." She moaned.

Zach laughed and shook his little sandy curls "not mess!" He made the carpet float carefully and go back down "fly!"
Damon picked her up and curled her close to his body as he just held her trying to help her through it...

Torch smiled. "You are one talented kid. I guess you figured out how to put things back then." He smiled and hugged him.
Lexi closed her eyes and grit her teeth, focusing on Damon's heartbeat as her own thudded in her ears. Her blood was switching from fire to ice, and just when she thought she couldnt take it anymore, it stopped, and she knew she was back to her regular self. She immediately sat up and cupped Damon's face and kissed him.

Zach nodded eagerly "I do it by myself!" He said proudly and hugged him back. "Hungry!"
Damon kissed her softly and gently being careful with her but still expressing his love "I love you..." He whispered and just held her inhaling her old scent and savoring it.

Torch grinned. "Good for you." He picked him up and carried him dowstairs. "Im hungry to, what would you like?"
Lexi hugged him tight, resting her head on his chest. She was herself again, and he loved her. It was weird to not have fangs, but it was good too. She was back where she wanted to be, and now that the vampiness was out of the way, she could get close to Damon again. "I love you too." She said softly.

Zach frowned "ummm hotdogs?"
Damon rubbed her back and stroke her hair lovingly "I never want you to think that you have to change for me to love you...alright?"

Torch smiled. "Good idea." He agreed. "I like your thinking. He when to the fridge and pulled out some hotdogs, putting them in a pot to boil for him and Zach.
Lexi swallowed slowly, before nodding. "Ok. Not anymore." She agreed, closing her eyes and willing the stress of the past while to leave.

Zach grinned happily and bounced on his toes "num num num!"
Damon kissed her softly and started to rock her "does Ashlynn need to change or did she change when you did?"
Torch chuckled. "We wouldnt want that." He said softly, pulling hus shirt off before lowering himself back on her. "Try not to enjoy it too much then Mae. Or she'll hear you."
Taylor looked a little downcast. "Oh. I was hoping I would grow pointy teeth." She said softly, her smile turning into a little pout.
