James shook his head and smiled "it's an interest of mine, and we already have so much in common..." He kissed her lovingly again "don't worry about it..."Mae sighed and sat next to London putting a hand on her leg "honey, we need to get you a doctor appointment...make sure that everything is ok..."
Damon smiled and held her closely "love you munchkin..." He took Taylor's hand and smiled down at her "how are you doing?"
Emily smiled. "Alright then. I suppose I would like to be a pheonix. Flight and fire powers, equals awesome." She said, laughing lightly. Now stop interrupting. She thought as she kissed him again, a little more meaningful this time. London nodded, sighing. "Will Dad be ok with this? Eventually?" She asked, a little worried.
Taylor hopped up on his lap beside Ashlynn. "Good Dad! But I'm hungry!"
James moved his hands on her waist and kissed her deeply running his tongue across her lip and kissing down her jaw. She was so gorgeous and what she said described a demon, maybe one day he could tell her.Mae sighed "eventually...it's just a little much right now...you're his baby girl and we told you that this would happen!"
Damon chuckled "I have dinner in the fridge! Go downstairs and get some!"
Emily closer her eyes, thoroughly enjoying his lips and taste, and the feel of his hands on her waist. It was only when she remembered the icecream in her hand that was melting that she pulled away slowly. "We should.... probably get this to your sister..." she whispered.London nodded, closing her eyes as the tears rushed to them. She hated that she had hurt her parents, betrayed their trust... but at the same time, she didnt regret what she did with mark. She didnt know what to say...
Taylor grinned and dashed down the stairs to look for the food.
"Where's mom?" Ashlynn inquired. "And where did you go?"
James chuckled and nodded "yeah...it's ice cream soup...maybe we'll head back to my apartment..." He didn't want the night to end, this is what London was talking about!Mae sighed "I'll go call the doctor..."she left the room and hugged Torch tightly crying "what did I do wrong..."
Damon smiled "she's sleeping and uncle Torch needed help."
Emily nodded. "She's there then? At your apartment? I'd love to meet her before I have to head home." She said honestly. She hated that the night had to end eventually. She just hoped they could have another like it. Soon.Torch hugged her tight, kissing her hair and inhaling the scent of it. "Its nothing you did Mae. Nothing we did." He said, trying to comfort her.
Ashlynn smiled. "Im going to go have food too." She said, running downstairs.
Lexi had fallen asleep in their room, and she tossed and turned on tue bed, nightmares plaguing her mind.
James frowned "now that I think of it...I think she went to my parents house, we'll stop there and say hi. If that's ok? My rents are pretty laid back."Mae swallowed and shook her head "I told her...I shouldn't have let them be alone!" She dried her tears "what doctor should I call? I don't like the one that helped with the twins..."
Damon went back to Lexi and kissed her cheek "the girls are home..."
Emily nodded. "Of course. I'd be happy to meet the fam." She promised, smiling. She hopped back on his bike as they drove off, heading to the Miltons.Torch kissed her cheek. "Theres nothing we can do to go back now." He sighed. Then he thought for a moment. "You could always get your mother to see her." He suggested.
Lexi woke with a start, smiling when she saw it was him. "Wonderful. Glad we're all ok. I ahd a horribel dream that we were captured by human scientists." She said honestly, her smile weak.
James parked in the garage and smiled taking her hand "they won't believe that I'm on a date...with such a beautiful girl." He kissed her hand before opening the door "mum, dad? I have someone is like you to meet!"Mae heard James and sighed nodding, she put on a smile and headed down the stairs "now who is this lovely lady?"
Damon frowned worriedly "what happened?..."
Emily laughed, flushing. She moved a little closer to him, worried they would not like her. That is, until his mom called her beautiful, and then she was smiling brightly and shaking her hand. "Im Emily."Torch stayed up in the hallway, pacing. He wasnt ready to see anyone yet. Not after what happened.
Lexi shook her head. "It was just a dream Damon. But they found us, and were testing on us. Us and the miltons. "
Mae smiled "darling, any girl that comes home with my son gets a hug!" She hugged her softly and smiled at James, though she could tell she was human she hoped he was being smart. "Now let's get that...melted thing in the freezer, London isn't quite ready to come downstairs..."Damon shook his head angrily "it won't happen." He said with finality and sighed holding her "Ash was controlling Taylor to get her candy and things..."
Emily smiled, warming up immediately. She hugged her back, and nodded. "Yes. It was suppsed to be icecream. .." she laughed and shook her head. "I guess ill go put this in the freezer.... this way is the kitchen, right?" She asked, walking in.London heard James arrive, as well as some strange girl, and she bit her lip. "Bad timing.... really bad timing....but I guess we have to get this over with...." she got up and walked to the top of the stairs. Luckily, the girl was in the kitchen at the moment. "Hi James." She whispered, managing a small smile.
Lexi nodded, hugging him. She trusted him to take care of them. She laughed softly then. "Oh was she? That one is going to be trouble looks like."
Mae nodded and sighed looking at her twins, "you came home at a rather...unfortunate time James...she's wonderful." She assured to let him know she didn't disapprove.James frowned looking at his sister, she had been crying? Why did she look so pale and shaky "hey Loo...what's going on?..."
Damon chuckled "I talked to her, let her know that wasn't nice...she's already so big!"
Lodnon couldnt bear it. Couldnt bear the worry she heard in his voice. Couldnt bear the look she knew was coming. She bit her lip and looked away, trying not to start crying all over again. "Im pregnant." She whispered.Lexi nodded. "They grow so fast." She agreed. "Soon we wont have kids left! Just adults! Now wont that be strange." She shook her head. "All this demon age changing is just so confusing."
James blinked trying to think of her words as only a hallucination, his whole body felt like it was doused in ice water. He didn't know what to say or think...and then all he saw was red. "Where is he?!" He growled "I'll tear him limb from limb! How dare he touch you!"Damon chuckled "you have to remember that gathering as a family is rare for demons, usually they just breed and then let them go..."
And then the tears fell and London was stumbling down the stairs, her hands on his shoulders. "James.... im sorry. Im so sorry. You cant blame him. It was both of us, it was my fault too." She was sobbing, barely able to stand she was shaking so hard.Lexi nodded, sighing. "Right. Its strange to think that way, but I guess thats just how it is." She smiled softly, kissing his cheek. "At least ill have you forever."
James felt tears prickle his own eyes and he held her up, supporting her as had always. He held her close a sob escaping his throat. His sister...Loo, and his best friend. "I can't deal with this right now...Emily wants to meet you, we brought you back some ice cream, I am going to pretend I know nothing of this."Damon smiled and nuzzled her softly and kissed her neck "as long as you'll have me...the girls are going to empty out the fridge I suppose we should get up..."0
London nodded, hiccuping as she wiped her eyes. This was so horrible for her best friend that he was pretending it had never even happened. She knew they would be talking later, but for now, she just felt sick. "I'd love to meet Emily." She whispered, trying to look happy for him. Lexi raised an eyebrow. "Now where did they get the hunger from? I know where Zach gets it... but our girls?" She said, hopping up to head downstairs.
James sighed and pecked her cheek leading her to the kitchen "Em, this is my twin the infamous London!" He smiled trying to focus on the beautiful girl and the way they had kissed just earlier.Damon shrugged and followed her, he smiled at them sitting at the table "get enough to eat?"
If Emily noticed the signs that they both had been crying, she wisely ignored it, immediately breaking out in smiles to hug London. "Finally we meet!"Her enthusiasm was contagious, and London found it a little easier to smile, even though the circumstances were far from easy. "Nice to meet you. James has been talking non stop about the beautiful girl he met." She said, hoping to gain a friend, and make her brother blush a little, anything to see the sorrow off his face again.
Torch had finally slumped back against the wall again, the flame of anger dying down. He walked back into Mark's room, each footfall heavy. "You... I..." He started, swallowing, and then just shook his head. "Treat her and the child well." Was all he said, before he left again, the sorrow of losing his baby girl still heavy on his heart. He went to his and Mae's room and sank down on the bed, finally crying.
Taylor grinned and nodded, looking around her at the mess of assorted foods, all covered in syrup and at least three bags of marshmallows. Ashlynn's cheeks were stuffed with just as many of them as she could fit in at one time. She grinned at them, the marshmallows showing between her lips.
Lexi just stared in horror, her mouth dropping open.
James grinned slightly and nodded "Em has been dying to meet you, I worry that you two are certaintly going to gang up on me! Maybe it wasn't a good idea to introduce you!" He teased trying to get his light heart back.Mae sighed and went into his room and held him close, tears were rare for Torch she knew he was really suffering. "Shh..." She tried to sooth kissing him "it's going to be ok..."
Damon like a flash took anything that was sugar related and plated the actual meal he made for them "did I say you could have that? I might have to ground you from all sugar!"
Emily laughed softly. "Not a bad idea." She nudged London. "Anyways... we got you some icecream... sorry if it isn't really icecream any more." she said, pulling it out. London smiled, taking it and grabbing a spoon. "No thank you. Melted icecream is just what I need right now." She said, eating it slowly.
Torch pulled himself closer to her, wanting and needing her support, needing to feel like he didn't need to have it together all the time. He burnt Zach, and now this. "I'm a horrible father." he mumbled. "Our little girl is gone Mae..." He shook his head. She belonged to someone else now.
Ashlynn pouted, picking at the real food. "You didn't say we couldn't..." She mumbled.
James sighed watching her eat it, he'd get her some more later...his sister, with a baby? It was just so much! He pecked Emily's cheek "we better get you home, before the motorcycle turns back into a pumpkin!"Mae shook her head "you are no where close to a horrible father...London is still our little girl, we will be there to support and love her and the grand baby...Zach is ok, it isn't as if Damon hasn't done much worse right?"
Damon sighed "I expected you to know better..."
Emily laughed, nodding. "Sounds good. Nice to meet you London. Hopefully we'll see each other again soon!" London nodded, waving and smiling, before plopping down at the kitchen table to eat the ice cream.
Torch thought about that, still just hugging her. He rested his head on her shoulder and wiped his eyes. "I suppose... but still. London has to deal with so much now... and I could have prevented it." He shook his head. "She's too young to deal with that responsibility."
Ashlynn looked down, hating her father's disappointment. "Sorry Daddy..." She whispered, looking rather sad.
James took her back out to the bike and kissed her deeply again "we could stop by my apartment if you want..." He whispered in her ear inhaling her scent.Mark sighed and sat by her at the table and kissed her cheek "you ok?..."
Mae sighed and nodded "I know...that's why we are here to help her through it, I wasn't much older when I had the twins." She reminded and sighed running her hand through her hair "I should call my mother...."
Damon hated the sad little look and brought her face up and kissed her cheek "I love you, that will never stop ok...I just don't want you to get sick..."
Emily blushed brightly. "Though the offer is very tempting, I have school tomorrow, so I should probably head home." She said rather reluctantly. "Sorry. Maybe another night?"London nodded slowly. "No one really took it well though. I feel like they all hate me..."
Torch nodded, kissing her cheek. "You're right. As usual." He smiled a little. "And yes, you probably should. Might as well get the news and appointments over with."
Ashlynn smiled brightly again. "Ok Dad." She hopped up. "Come on Taylor! Let's go play!"
James nodded and smiled pecking her cheek "of course, I'll take you home!" He was fine with it really the hormones were so out of control, one date and he was already lusting after her, not good. He drove her back to the apartment building and up to her door.Mark played with her hair "no one hates you...they just don't know how to take it..."
Mae nodded and closed her eyes contacting Anne 'mother I need you, I just found out London is carrying a child...'
Damon sat them both back down "not until you finish your dinner."
Emily stepped off the bike, taking off his helmet again. She smiled at him reaching up to give him a quick goodnight kiss. "Thank you for today." She said softly, waving as she walked into her apartment. London nodded slowly, sighing. "I hope everyone gets settled down again soon. I hate walking around and getting looks like I'm some criminal."
Anne flew up to Earth in a couple minutes, a slight smile of amusement on her features. "So I'm a great grandmother now?" She asked. She didn't look a day older than 30. Perks of being a demon.
Ashlynn and Taylor both pouted, eating their food reluctantly.
Lexi laughed softly, elbowing him. "And you were worried you couldn't be a good parent."
James practically floated back down to his bike. When he had hidden his bike he took to the skies doing flips and laughing for joy! So this is what it felt like! He couldn't contain his joy and wanted to express it to the whole universe!Mark nuzzled her "I'll never look at you like that...I love you so much...we'll get married and bonded before the baby comes..."
Mae sighed and nodded "I think you're the only one London would trust...to examine her. I think she's a little reluctant and scared..." She sighed running a hand through her hair.
Damon smirked and pecked Lexi's cheek "the girls I can handle. Dem not so much!"
Emily skipped into her room, singing at the top of her lungs. She looked like a Disney princess as she flung her hair out and twirled around the room. "I'm in looooove!" She sang. London nodded, cuddling up against him. "And this is why I love you." She teased, smiling. "You sure know how to make me feel better."
Anne nodded. "Of course. Just let me know a time that's good for you all, and I'll come right up. Unless right now is better...?"
Lexi laughed. "Are you two heading out on some big trip tomorrow?" She asked.
James rested on a fiery ring and sighed like a love sick puppy, he couldn't stop smiling or thinking about her...Emily...she was so perfect! Everything he and Dem talked about went out the window, girls were marvelous and he would treat her like a goddess!Mae sighed "I think right now, might as well get it over with right?...the fetus is already growing..." She sat on the bed miserably "I never thought this would happen..." She took Torch's hand.
Damon grinned and nodded "indeed we are! I cannot wait!" He said almost like a school boy.
Anne nodded in agreement. "Want to fetch her for me then?" She asked. London sighed softly, remembering James. 'Hey... can we talk?' She sent hesitantly.
Lexi grinned, patting his arm. "You deserve some time off." She agreed. "Don't have too much fun without me." She teased.
Mae nodded and went downstairs to London "hey sweety, can you come upstairs?" She asked softly with a smile "grandma is here."James sighed his happy bubble popped as he remembered that his sister was carrying his best friend's baby...joy. 'No not now' he sighed miserable.
Damon chuckled "I won't...just a little though ok?"
London closed her eyes, stung by his thought. He had not turned her down in a while, and it hurt. But she understood why he did. "yeah." She said to Mae, walking upstairs with her. "I have nothing better to do." She said miserably. Anne smiled when she saw London. "Come in another room with me dear, might as well get this over and done with." She said, smiling gently.
Lexi smiled, nodding. "Of course. Tell me all about it when you get back."
Mae smiled and took her hand "do you want me to hold your hand sweety? Or have Mark come up? I promise it just takes a minute..."Damon kissed her cheek "I've got to pack love...make sure the girls stay out of trouble please!"
London nodded, reaching for her hand. "It might be good for him to be here." She agreed. Anne was setting her supplies up, laying out everything she would need.
Lexi nodded. "I think I can handle them." She said hopefully. "Make sure you pack enough! I don't want you getting sick!"
Mae called Mark up and he immediately went into the room. He was confused at was going on but London looked nervous and he took her hand kissing it "hey...what's going on?..." Mae held her other hand and sighed.Damon rolled his eyes. "Darling you worry too much..."
London swallowed and nodded to Anne. "Check up." She said softly. Anne nodded, pulling on gloves. "And it will only take a second." She helped London out of her clothes and got started right away on examining her.
Lexi grinned. "That's my job." She said, smiling. "Now go on. Pack. You have to at least bring something tomorrow! Wont you need a tent? And sleepingbags? And..." She rattled off a list. It was hard for her not to worry. Damon wouldn't be at the house for a weekend, and she hid her nervousness for herself and the girls, by being worried about him.
Mark kissed her forehead "deep breaths..." He sighed looking at Anne "does it hurt her?" He had no idea about any of this.Damon shook his head "baby...breathe! It'll be fine!"
London nodded, closing her eyes and trying to forget about all this as she was poked at.Anne shook her head. "It shouldn't. " she promised. "And im almost done."
Lexi sighed, combing back her bangs with a hand. "Ok. Ok. I think im good now." She smiled a little. "Go pack. I should check on the girls."
Mark sighed worriedly and stroke her hair and watched Anne "have you felt anything wrong?..." He just wanted to be a part of everything, to be there to support his child and girl.Damon smiled and kissed her head "I love you, don't worry you'll be fine without me!"
Anne shook her head, straightening again. "It all looks good and in order." She said, smiling. "You're perfectly healthy." She told a relieved London. Lexi smiled a little, closing her eyes when he kissed her. "I hope so."
Mark sighed in relief and covered her up with the blanket, he nuzzled her and kissed her cheek "I love you honey...you should rest, can I get you anything?" Mae went back to Torch and lay on his stomach "Damon's going on a guy camping trip."
Damon smiled and went to get everything packed into the truck. He grinned seeing Dem come up "hey buddy!"
London lay back, closing her eyes. "No. Just one bottle of cheer me up please." She joked, but it lacked humor. "James is still ignoring me..." She sighed, wincing a little. Torch raised an eyebrow. "And he didn't invite me? Shame." He shook his head, smiling a little.
Dem smiled, dumping his hockey bag of clothes and anything else he wanted in the back of the truck. "Are we ready to head out?"
Mark looked up to see James at the door and smiled "looks like you get another chance!"Mae leaned up and kissed him "love you...it could just be us this weekend."
Damon chuckled "yeah we are!" He got in the truck "wanna plug in your iPod?"
London looked over and bit her lip when she saw her brother in the door. "James..." She whispered, trying to find the right things to say. Torch grinned. "Well wouldn't that be lovely!" He said, kissing her back. "A whole weekend to ourselves."
Dem shook his head. "Didn't bring it. We could turn on the radio though." He offered, twisting the knob to see what was playing.
Mark left the two of them alone, James kissed his grandmother's cheek and then sat by London "hey Loo...how are you doing?" He needed to be her support again even if he didn't want to be.Mae smirked "we could even make a pillow fort..."
Damon smiled and nodded "so Ash is now a kleptomaniac."
London winced and looked away again. "Not as great as I could be. I lost my best friend." she whispered, her eyes closing. Torch laughed. "You bet." He wrapped his arm around her waist. "Anything for you dear."
Dem raised an eyebrow and grinned. "Good for her." He said, leaning back in his seat.
James took her hand and smiled "you'd never lose me..." He smoothed her hair comfortingly "and im going to be the best uncle in the world!"Mae smiled and nuzzled him "Mmm love you, gramps." She teased.
Damon smiled lightly and looked at the road "so how's training going? Are we going to have a new record holder?"
Torch glared at both of them, fuming for a couple minutes straight. When he calmed enough to think clearly again, he heaved a long sigh. "I need a minute." He said, knowing he could not trust his words when he was like this. So he left to pace in the hall and cool down. He didn't want to set anything on fire...
Ashlynn nodded, smiling a little. "Ok Daddy." She hugged him tight.
