London chewed her lip and thought for a moment, before looking up at him. "Should I? Would that be ok?" She asked rather shyly. Lexi smiled. "Talented kids." She said. "Dem, could you put Taylor down for a nap?"
Dem nodded, scooping Taylor out of the air. "Sure thing." He said, walking upstairs.
Lexi smiled down at Damon. "We've got such a great family." She whispered.
James shrugged "it's up to you, I can't make this decision for you..." Though he wish he could, but this was something that he shouldn't get involved in..annoyingly enough.Damon nodded and nuzzled his face against her stomach "we really do...we've got a teen on our hands though...that kid!"
London nodded. "Ok. I'll talk to him later then." She decided, hugging her brother. "Thank you, for being here for me."Lexi laughed. "He'll be a handful, that's for sure." She agreed. "The kid grows way too fast. Though I suppose now he can choose whatever age he wishes, since he is past eight?"
James hugged her close "that's what I'm here for Loo, you need anything else?" He let go moving off of her bed and stretching feeling stiff.Damon nodded "thankfully being his parents whatever age he chooses we will still know it's him."
London sat up and shook her head. "No. I think I'm alright now, thank you." She smiled. "Are you and Mark good friends again now?"Torch grabbed an apple for both him and Mae and went to her so he could give it to her.
Lexi nodded. "Thank goodness. It could get tricky if we weren't able to." She said, shaking her head. Then she sighed softly. "I should probably head back upstairs. Little miss is upset about me moving around so much." She said, huffing.
James grinned and nodded "I think we are closer than me and Dem...he's bring a real jerk!" He rolled his eyes "I don't get it..."Mae smiled and took the apple "is it poisoness?"
Damon helped her and led her back to bed and out of her sweatpants "does it hurt? ..."
London nodded sadly. "I know what you mean. Hes so focused on being the biggest and the best. And his ego is terrible. But.... maybe he'll come around." She said hopefully.Torch smiled. "No. But not nearly as sweet as you." He kissed her cheek. "How are you doing?"
Lexi shook her head, relaxing back against the pillows. "Shes not making too much of a fuss, and the drip is still just uncomfortable. But I think standing might slow the flow down a little, and Shes not happy about that."
James sighed "he just needs to be proved that he's not the best and get some humility..." He shrugged and stood on his head.Mae smiled and nodded "I'm good...I stopped throwing up and my heart stopped racing!"
Damon nodded and kissed her "I wish there was something I could do to help...you want it out for a little bit?"
London nodded. "Exactly. Hopefully he gets some humility soon, before his pride becomes his downfall." She said, shaking her head. "You're talented. Im sure you could show him up."Torch nodded. "Thats amazing." He agreed. "And you dont feel as horrible I hope?"
Lexi sighed. "As much as I would love to say yes, leaving it in is the better alternative to her feeding off me." She said, smiling sadly at him. "Ive got to keep both of you safe."
James watched her upside down and sighed "not as controlled as he is with my abilities and demon phase...truth is that he is as good as he thinks!"Mae shook her head "I feel great...I'm worried about Lexi though...you know we haven't heard from them..."
Damon sighed and leaned into her cuddling the best he could "I wish it wasn't this way..."
London nodded slowly. "You're right. He is good." She agreed. "But that doesn't mean you aren't just as good in other areas. Take what you're doing right now. I can't do that." She pointed out. Torch nodded, chewing on his lip. "We should probably visit to see how they are doing." He agreed. He was worried about them as well.
Lexi turned her face against him and sighed, curling up against him as much as she could. "It's only for a couple months. Then she'll be out, and so will the tube." she said, trying to be positive.
James chuckled "dad says I'm made of elastic! But that's not really something competitive...what about you, you are the most kind and caregiving demon."Mae nodded and sat up grabbing her jacket "should you call ahead a time?"
Damon smiled and nodded rubbing her thigh "yeah...and then I'll give you the TLC you need!"
London smiled. "It's still cool." She said seriously. "And being a... helping demon is considered a weakness. I'll be picked on, James." she looked down. Torch nodded. "Yeah. Good idea." He said, walking to the nearest phone and dialing in the number.
Lexi smiled, looking up at him. "That sounds wonderful." She said honestly, and then the phone rang beside their bed.
James frowned "I wouldn't let them! We just have to find your fierce side like mom! She's not like other demons but she gets respect!"Damon took the phone and answered "hello?"
London chewed on her lip. "But what if I don't have one?" She asked, shaking her head. "What if I am weak?"Torch smiled. "So you are alive. I was starting to wonder." He teased. "Can we come over? Mae and I have been worrying..."
James shook his head "not possible..." He said seriously and flipped back over "you have an internal strength that just hasn't shown up!"Damon bit at his lip "yeah...Lex is just um...resting."
London sighed softly. "I hope you're right." She whispered, folding her hands in her lap. She felt strangely empty, not being able to feel a power, though she willed there to be one. Torch nodded slowly. "Would it be better for us to come another time?"
"No it's fine." Lexi said seriously, being able to hear the discussion. "I'll just be staying in bed."
James moved back to the side of her bed and put his arm around her "mom didn't get her abilities for a long time and she controls the weather!"Mae smiled "I'll bring some soup, see you there! "
Damon lay back to the pillow and looked over at Lexi "so..."
London nodded slowly, a little more hopeful. "Think I could control the weather?" She asked hopefully. Torch hung up and pulled on his coat, smiling at Mae. "Think James and London will be fine for a while?" He asked.
Lexi smiled softly at him, her hand reaching out to gently run a finger down the line of his jaw. "You are strikingly handsome. Are you aware of that?"
James grinned "or something even more amazing!" He squeezed her shoulder "you are amazing and don't think otherwise, Mark certaintly thinks so!"Mae nodded "they are almost teenagers! They'll be fine!"
Damon flushed "no brown nosing...or making me a puddle..."
London smiled thankfully, leaning her head on his shoulder. "James... we're older now.... almost 12. Can I try to heal you now?" She asked hopefully, wanting to feel like she could do something right, and wanting him to feel better.Torch chuckled. "Ok Ok. Just checking." He said, opening the door. "Drive or fly?"
Lexi grinned, pecking his lips. "I rather like you as a puddle." She teased, gazing into his eyes. She could get lost in them. "Besides you make me into a puddle far too often." She said, trailing kisses down his neck.
James looked at her shocked "my legs?...I don't even remember them..." He said honestly and sighed "but you could try Loo!"Mae shot to the sky laughing "why ask?..."

London nodded. "Ok. Hold still then. It'll make it easier for me to concentrate." she said seriously, placing one hand on each of his legs. She closed her eyes and reached back into her mind for her magic.Torch grinned, his wings unfolding as he shot after her. "Right." he said, swiping his wing at her playfully.
Lexi smiled, parting the distance between them a little. "Oh don't worry. I'll save that for a later time." She promised, kissing his cheek and relaxing beside him again.
James swallowed hating that he couldn't feel his sisters hands on his legs, he pulled back "wait...what if it, what if it doesn't work?...I don't want you to blame yourself..."Mae slapped him and pushed him back "don't be a jerk!"
Damon put his hand on her stomach and rubbed softly "the baby...has the hiccups honey..."
London opened her eyes and smiled sadly at him. "If it doesn't work, I'll try again when I'm stronger. But I do believe I can do it now. Please let me try?" She begged. Torch laughed and flew a circle around her. "I can't help who I am honey!" he said innocently, blowing her a kiss.
Lexi raised her eyebrows. "Um... how do we fix that?" She asked, nervous.
James sighed and nodded "I'm just...nervous." He admitted and closed his eyes "I don't even remember how it feels..."Mae landed at the house and blinked, the yard was a mess and Damon was almost scarily precise with yard work "Torch?..."
London nodded, smiling encouragingly at him. "And it's time you remembered." She said softly, placing her hands on him again. "Hold still." she reminded as her eyes closed and she reached for her magic once more. Torch frowned. "Not good." he agreed. "I suppose Damon has been tied up for the last bit..." he said softly. He stepped into the house. "Hello?"
Lexi smiled. "It would seem that they are here."
James froze like a statue and relaxed letting his wings go limp. He remembered running and playing soccer...he blinked feeling a rush up his legs "what?..."Damon got the blanket and covered her carefully adjusting the IV to hide it "good? Come on in guys!"
London smiled softly as she let her power flow into him, mending and knitting and stitching nerves together. She focused until she was dead beat from using that much of her power. "Love you." She whispered as she passed out from sheer exhaustion. Lexi nodded. "Good." She agreed, checking extra carefully to make sure the IV would not be visible.
Torch grinned and walked upstairs. He stopped when he saw Lexi and Damon and leaned on the doorframe. "You guys alright?" he asked, surveying them both with a worried glance.

James caught her and laid her on the pillow, he slowly curled his toes and blinked "I...it..." He said shocked and shook his head too shocked to know what to do.Damon nodded and gave a small smile "Lex is just tired..." He assured and stood to give Torch the guy hug.
Mae analyzed her friend knowing something was wrong "isn't that blanket too hot?..."
London stirred minutes later and smiled softly as her eyes opened. "Gues you wont be needing that wheelchair." She whispered.Torch grinned. "You're alive!" He said. "Whats been going on over here? Are you all ok from the vamp attack?"
Lexi shook her head, "no its fine." She promised, smiling at Mae. "Come here." She patted a spot on the bed. "I have some things to tell you."
James smiled as she woke up and nodded "your going to have to teach me how to walk again..." But he was ecstatic he had his legs back! His spine wasn't damaged anymore!Damon shrugged "I'll let Lex explain...it's certaintly being a trying week..."
Mae nodded and sat by her giving a smile "I'm all ears!"
London grinned and sat up. "Sure thing bro." She said, sliding off the bed and running around to the side to help him to the floor.Torch nodded, turning to Lexi as she started to explain.
"The vamps had drained me before Damon got there." Lexi started. "So... dont freak out, but I was turned." She said softly. "And Damon and I... well... theres another vamp on the way..."
James took a shaky step and nearly crumbled into London's arms. He took a deep breath and tried again.Mae looked at her shocked, and her impulse was to scoot away "you've got it under control right?..."
London gripped his hand tightly so she could keep him from toppling to the floor. She nodded. "There you go. Try again." She urged, watching as her brother took his first steps in a long time. Lexi sighed sadly, not hurt, only sad that her friend was now afraid of her, and by the look of horror on Torch's face, so was he. "That's the thing. I don't really. But... there haven't been any major incidents yet..."
James swallowed and tried to walk carefully, it was like a limp more then a walk. He grumbled frustrated "Zach walks better than me..."Mae hugged Lexi closely and smiled "I'm not afraid...I love you...how is the baby?...I mean how does that work?"
London smiled encouragingly. "You're getting it though. This is better than not walking at all, isn't it?" She asked him.Lexi smiled and hugged her back. "Well. The baby grows faster, and drinks blood. But other than that, she's been behaving like a normal child. Oh yeah, and she's already got telepathy."
James nodded and smiled at London "thank you...see, you are extremely powerful you made a lame man walk!"Mae put her hand on her stomach and blinked "what is that?..."
London flushed, "I did, didn't I?" Then she shook her head. "But it took all the energy I had!"Lexi smiled nervously, "The baby, and the bloodbag we're using to feed her." She said simply.
Torch turned to Damon, still somewhat in shock. "So... are you ok?"
James took another step "dad couldn't even do it Loo...it was amazing!"Mae blinked but then nodded in understanding "is there anything I could do to help?"
Damon slowly nodded "yeah...just..." He couldn't explain it but it felt like he was losing himself.
London's smile grew a little more. "Well... thank you..." She said, "You know how to make me feel good."Lexi sighed and shook her head. "I'm afraid not. This is something I have to deal with. I'm just worried for Damon and the kids. I have been so much trouble for them..."
Torch pulled him out into the hallway. "What is it?" he asked softly. "How are you really? What's wrong?"
James smiled "I don't like seeing my little sister sad...it makes me want to beat up someone!"Mae shook her head "I doubt that...they love you, and you haven't done anything..."
Damon shook his head "ever since she was turned...my energy has been drained...I want to make her happy but I have to protect the kids...I can't sleep, I can't leave her side...and I have an unplanned unwanted kid!"
London giggled and hugged him. "I'm glad I've got you." She said. Lexi shook her head, "That's just it! I tried to attack Taylor and I hurt Damon in the process and now I'm like a bomb waiting to go off." She said miserably.
Torch huffed, shaking his head. "Well that is a mess. You're not going to survive continuing this much longer." He said, shaking his head. "It might be easier just to lock her in here for the time being, so you don't have to watch her." He offered.
James hugged her back "Mark's in the guest room go say hi..."Mae wrapped her arms around her and lay her head on her shoulder "it's ok Lex...you can't control it, I bet Damon feels horrible..."
Damon shook his head "that's what she wants me to do...I can't, treat her like a caged animal! She's my wife! Carrying my baby! I can't hate the thing because the little girl is telepathic and loves us'"
((Want to play Mark for this part?))Lonond nodded and jogged to the other room. "Mark?" She called hesitantly through the door.
Lexi grimaced. "Thats the point." She said. "And he's not caring for himself. He refuses to leave me! I worry Mae..."
torch sighed. "Well you need to talk with Lexi about that. But if you get sick then ill come over here and start taking things into my own hands." He said seriously. He couldnt let his friend waste away.
((I'd love too!))Mark looked up, he was unpacking his sport duffle bag that him and James snuck out. He nearly toppled off the bed seeing her for the first time in a long time "hi London." He breathes mesmerized by her innocent beauty.
Mae bit at her lip "I'll be the new Damon! I'll watch over you and the baby...Torch can take care of the housework and cooking...so that Damon doesn't burn his candle on both ends."
Damon shook his head vigorously "no, I don't need you to take charge. I'm still the man of the house, would you want me to do that to you? Lock up Mae?"

Lexi bit her lip, hardly daring to hope. "Oh would you?" She asked, then she shook her head. "but... what about London and James? Are they fine on their own? And Zach! You've got a toddler to take care of!"
Torch nodded. "And you're burnt out! Damon, no I would not like you to lock up Mae, but I can't stand to see you like this either! I'm not going to let you wear away to nothing... surely there has to be a solution..."
Mark nodded "this is a great room! I'm really lucky that you guys took me in...it's a lot weirder than I first thought being a demon was."Mae smiled "it'll all work out! I'll being Zach to play with Taylor, and the twins have camp!"
Damon shook his head "I'm not burnt out...and don't call me Shirley!" He said with a half smile.
Damon shook his head "I don't know, I've stopped guessing with this family. I think that's how we are hearing her though...she's sending it out."
