McKensie and Lara

Dem shook his head, walking over to give Damon a hug. "No. I remember." he agreed, smiling.
Lexi raised an eyebrow. "Ok seriously. What are these games?" She asked.
"What's wrong with you?" Dem countered.
Lexi sighed. "I got bitten by a vamp. And now you've got a vamp sibling on the way." She said.
Dem's eyebrows raised. "Sick!" He said.

Damon chuckled "we are feeding the baby directly, so it doesn't feed on mom." He gestured to the tube going to the IV.
He looked at Lexi "the games are an event that happens every decade, it's like the Olympics for demons. When you win the higher your rank is, every demon is required to do at least one. It's all rather idiotic..."

Dem's eyes wandered down the length of the tube to where it disappeared under the blanket and his eyebrow raised. "Interesting method." He commented.
Lexi squirmed. "It was our only option." She said. Then she looked to Damon. "But isn't that dangerous?" She asked. "I mean... olympics. People died."
Dem grinned. "That's what makes it fun!"

Damon shook his head "you don't always have to be curious boy." He smiled and nodded "yeah, people die and get hurt and it's all in good fun...and don't believe anything you here about me and the games."

Dem chuckled. "I'm a curious boy."
Lexi looked at them both, somewhat stunned. "Good fun... right... well I guess I'll have to get used to that." Then she raised an eyebrow at him. "And exactly what would I be hearing about you?"

Damon looked at the smug look Demetri had "oh now what did you here?"

Dem laughed softly. "Just that you won every single game, but never took the role as leader. And man. Apparently you were a pretty mean opponent."
Lexi looked between the two.

Damon shook his head "kid where do you get these things?" He smiled at Lexi "I'm too lazy to compete."

Dem looked at his father curiously. Why was he hiding this from Mom? Dem knew Damon had competed, so why was he lying. "Anne told me." He said simply.
Lexi raised an eyebrow, confused.

Damon sighed "I always win...but they want me to be leader and that's not what I want."

Lexi smiled softly. "Well. That's not surprising." She shook her head. "But why did you never rule?"

Damon shrugged "it's not me...it's not worth it I know who I am and I don't need to be Lukas or HIM to show who's the most powerful."

Lexi nodded. "Makes sense I suppose." She thought for a moment. "But who's him?"
"The big guy. The boss." Dem piped up. "People rarely see him though. He keeps to himself."
Lexi nodded slowly. "Alright then." She shifted a bit, getting tired of sitting down.

Damon frowned noticing her shift "what do you want to do?"

London was sitting in a tree in the park, hugging the branch and crying quietly to herself.
Lexi chewed her lip. "Get off my butt and go get some food. Real food. Like steak or something. Not blood." She said, shifting around again.

Damon nodded "Dem go get unpacked." He urged him out and closed the door. "Cleats shorten this so you can move around."

Lexi nodded in agreement. "Yes please." She agreed, anxious to get up and move again. She didn't enjoy being bed bound.

Damon moved the blanket and adjusted the tube and taped it to her leg "does it have enough slack? Is it tugging?"

Lexi moved around a bit to experiment, and smiled brightly. "Perfect." She said, grinning. She sat up and moved very slowly to their closet, pulling out sweatpants she could wear. She quickly slipped them on. "Ill just have to stay away from doing any jumping jacks." She joked, smiling.

Damon chuckled "I certaintly couldn't handle that, you are very bad ass my love."

Torch and Mark came over quickly and they both stopped short. "What's wrong?" Mark asked, worried.
Torch just motioned them all to hurry quickly home.
Lexi flushed. "Not nearly as much as you are... winning all those games." She smiled at him. Walking over to him sowly and carefully, she slipped her hand in his and started to walk back towards the door. "Lets go get some steak."
((Props last post. Night :) may not be on all of tomorrow. We'll see ))

James carefully carried her back home, he lay her on her bed and looked at Torch desperately wondering what to do! He rubbed her back softly trying to calm her.
Damon chuckled and led her carefully to the kitchen, he pulled the raw steaks out and cooked them perfectly with his hands "Dem! Do you want any steak?" He called up.

London nodded slowly, her eyes still closed.
"Look at me," Torch urged, "and relax."
London obeyed, still trembling.
When her memories hit him, he winced, closing his eyes again to stop the flow. He lay his hand sympathetically on London's shoulder, and then stood, looking at James. "She'll just take some time to recover." He said softly. "It would seem that she encountered a wraith." He said softly. What troubled him, was that wraiths and vamps usually left well alone. So why the attacks?
Lexi grinned, watching him cook the steak. She was practically drooling, starving for real food.
Dem ran down the stairs shouting. "Yes!" As he went. He emerged beside Lexi and his eyes glued on the steaks.

Damon chuckled and cooked one more and played them "dinner is served!"

Lexi grinned and took one of the steaks, immediately gnawing into it. "Mmmm." She approved, happy.
Dem took one of the other steaks and didn't bother cutting it up as he started eating.

Damon chuckled "I have hyenas for a family! Do we even need silverware?"

Lexi shook her head. "I don't. But Dem does."
"Mooom!" Demetri complained. "I'm a demon!"
"You're not a vamp, and therefore, you can still use your manners. Go get a fork and knife." Lexi said sternly.
"Yes Mom." Dem sighed and got up to go get them.

Damon chuckled and nodded "Demetri, don't mess with pregnant vamp mom!"

Lexi smiled and Dem sighed as he got utensils and started to cut up the meat with them.
Lexi nodded. "That's better." She said, taking a bite out of her own steak.
"Yeah yeah." Dem said, huffing.

Damon gave him a look that would qut that attitude right there.
"So what have you been training Demetri?"

Dem only stabbed his steak with the fork and started sawing the knife through it. "Fly relay, archery, knife throwing, an wrestling." he said simply.

Damon nodded and ate some of his steak "which do you think is your strongest?"

Dem thought about that for a moment. "Knife work. And flying." he said, nodding.
Lexi raised an eyebrow. "Sounds... good." She said, not sure what she felt about their little boy having knives. He was not yet a year old, and yet he could easily pass for a 13 year old.

Damon gave Lexi a reassuring smile "that's good, I'll have to show you my old set." He blinked hearing the tinkling of the bell "and that's your sister!" He went to the nursery and held her so she wouldn't fly around.

Dem brightened. "I'd love that." He said, smiling. He grinned when he saw Taylor. "She's flying?" he asked, shocked.
Lexi nodded, smiling. "Yes, and causing quite the trouble around here."

Damon nodded in agreement and Taylor shimmied out of his arms and to Demetri "looks like she missed her big brother!"

Dem grinned and scooped her out of the air, spinning her around. "Hey baby girl." He said, kissing her forehead.
Lexi smiled lovingly at them.

Damon smiled watching them and cleaned up the kitchen, he blinked hearing a little voice in his head "did you say something?"

Lexi looked up. "Um... no... I didn't." She said, confused.
Dem shook his head. "I didn't either." He said quickly, resuming tickling Taylor.
((Idk if you wanted it to be Taylor talking to him, or something else... :P ))

((I was thinking it was the baby!))

((oh... ok. :) could you play the baby bc I am Dem and Taylor already? Is that ok?))
"Damon...?" Lexi asked softly, worried. "Is everything alright?" She asked.

((Yeah of course! :) ))
Damon leaned close to her stomach and smiled "they are talking...or I should say she is talking."

((sorry for the late reply. gr was down))
Lexi's eyebrows raised. "She...?" She asked. "The vamp?" she looked confused. ".... talking?"

Damon nodded and smiled "yeah...she was the little voice I heard..."

Lexi smiled happily. "Really?" She breathed. "That is so cool! Did she actually say something?" She asked. "What was it? Or was it not understandable?"

((Oh it's totally fine, I was eating dinner :) ))
Damon motioned Demetri over to see if he could hear her as well "just little babbling...she's happy and loves you."

((ok :) I'm heading to bed now. I'll be on in the morning. G'night :) ))
Dem scooted over, still holding Taylor and moved closer to Lexi's swollen stomach. "I can hear her..." He breathed.
Lexi smiled, her eyes watering. "That's so wonderful." She breathed. Suddenly everything she went through for the child was worth it.

Damon smiled and kissed her stomach "telepath...very useful..." He said softly and rubbed her tummy. He smiled at Taylor "your sister is in there!"
Damon chuckled but he would Lexi explain "what am I chop demon liver?" He teased and smiled "that's good, I don't have to remind you about the rules right?"
