((What about James? She could save him? And she could become half distracted by the guy that tells her how bad he is?))Damon frowned and ran her fingers through her hair "I'm sorry..."
Mae shook her head "don't remind me! My babies are still small and sweet."
((Sure. So he comes up and is talking to her about Damon when she is supposed to be watching James for Torch and Mae, and James wanders across the street and she saves him?))Lexi smiled and shook her head. "Don't be. We had a love hate relationship to start out..." She laughed a little.
Torch threw his hands up in surrender. "Sorry! sorry! You're right. You're always right." He said, kissing her cheek.
((Perfect and he could be worried about her and get her to the hospital and he could start to fall for her and try to convince her to leave Damon.))Damon smiled and kissed her deeply "and now what is it darling?"
Mae laughed and smacked his arm "oh hush!"
((Sure. We can start with that now I guess. And we need a reason to get Damon out of the way for a while, lol XD))Lexi smiled, "Love love of course." She said, loving the kiss enough that she leaned in for another one. This was the perfect day right here. Nothing they had to worry about. Just her and him. A family.
Torch grinned. "I'll make it up to you alright? Come to dinner with me? We can leave James with Lexi again." He offered her his hand to help her up and take her out.
((What if his brother is in trouble and he has to go find him?))Damon held her close and kissed down her neck and chest "you are way too irrisistable!" He said huskily in her ear.
Mae grinned "can I wear that tiny mini dress you like?"
((That works well :) ))Lexi closed her eyes, shivering and letting out a soft moan. "And you know how to tease me to no end." She whispered back.
Torch's eyes lit up. "By all means. Please do." He said, grinning. "I'll go get ready now. It's already getting close to the evening. We might as well go now."
((I just love this rp :) ))Damon chuckled and gripped onto her waist and inhaled her beautiful scent "me?...how about you? I'm innocent in this?"
Mae grinned and kissed his cheek "I'll go call Lexi...oh wait I don't have to!" She closed her eyes and contacted her 'can you watch James tonight, Torch wants a hot date!'
((ditto :) ))Lexi giggled and shook her head. "Neither of us are innocent..." She said, kissing his nose and grinning up at him. Then she paused, nodded for a second and sighed. "Looks like I'm babysitting James tonight." She said, before sending back, 'sure! Have fun.'
Torch smiled and nodded. "See you in a few." he said, before quickly going to the bathroom to get changed and cleaned up.
((Can you play his brother?))Damon smiled and kissed her cheek "that will be fun, gives us a chance to know what Demi will be like!"
Mae smiled and got changed and put her hair up and curled it, she liked feeling pretty and Torch always reacted well!
((Sure :) ))Lexi nodded enthusiastically. "Exactly." She agreed. "How much trouble can he be?" She joked.
Ash backed up, hitting a wall, his chest heaving. Footsteps sounded on the old floorboards, drawing steadily closer. Not good... not good at all. This was it. This was the end. Unless.... 'Damon! I need help! Please!' He cried.
Torch finished getting his hair combed, and shaved before walking out to join Mae again. He had a hard time keeping his mouth from falling open. "Wow... you're gorgeous." He said, grinning like a school boy. "Let's go drop of James and head to the restaurant." he suggested, hooking his arm through hers.
Damon stopped recognizing the voice of his little brother. He put his hand up to let Lexi know that he was talking 'Asher?! Where are you?!' He was panicked he hadn't heard from his brother in years!Mae laughed and leaned into him "always good at making a girl feel good about herself!" She went to get James, he was frowning confused, he had never seen his mom look like that.
Lexi waited patiently, getting the message. Ash shook his head, tensing as the man drew closer and closer. 'Come quick! They'll get me Damon! I'm just south of-' his thoughts went blank as a gun was brought down on his temple, knocking him out.
Torch smiled and followed her. "What am I for?" He asked, watching her pick up James, and the way his son looked at her. He chuckled and took her hand, eager to drop off James and get going.
Damon winced feeling the blow, he shook his head and looked at Lexi his eyes wild "I have to go! I can't explain!" He pecked her cheek and took off trying to find some sense of his brother.Mae smirked and looked at James "can't say in front of my son darling!" She spred her wings and took off to Damon's place.
Lexi looked at him, worried by the panicked expression she saw in his eyes. "Be careful!" Was all she had time to say before he was gone. Ash was dragged into a separate room where he was tied to a chair and left.
Torch laughed softly, shaking his head. He took off with her and soared over the expanse between his and Damon's house, swooping down to find Lexi in the hot tub. He raised an eyebrow. "You up for watching him?"
Lexi nodded, blushing and hopping out, wrapping herself in a towel before taking James. "We'll be fine. Go have fun." She insisted.

((It's all good! Goodnight :) ))Damon had to fly across the country to find his brother, he landed on the roof and crawled to the window and jimmying the lock as to not alert the culprit. He found his brother and removed the gag "Ash?" He whispered worriedly.
Mae covered her mouth a little shocked at seeing her best friend skinny dipping. She kissed her son's head "be good, ok? I love you!" It was harder to leave him, date night was a rarity indeed!
((Should that other guy come in now?))Ash groaned and looked up slowly. "Damon." He whispered, managing a smile. "You came." He said, then he shuddered. "They would have killed me..."
Torch nodded, "Alright." He agreed, surveying James in Lexi's arms a little hesitantly. "Let's go." He said, taking Mae's hand and taking off again.
Lexi sighed softly and scooped up James. "Let's get back into the house little guy." She said, carrying him inside, where she set him down on her bed while she got into some clothes. "Wanna go play outside?" She asked him.
((Yeah I'll send him in!))Damon swallowed, his brother didn't know what he was he never should have to. He started to undo the ropes struggling "how'd you get into trouble now?" He whispered.
James felt a little shy now that he wasn't with his parents, he didn't know why they left or how long they'll be. He nodded and hopped down off the bed running off to go play.
Crew had been searching for decades to find the monster, he knew he lived around here somewhere...he was going to pay for how he destroyed his life! He sat on the bus stop bench staring at his hands.
Ash gulped. "I uh..." he rubbed his wrists when the ropes fell away and stood slowly. "I ran into a couple of thugs." He said softly. "May or may not have done something I shouldnt..." he fidgeted.Lexi ran outside after James. "Wait wait." She called. "I have to come with you." She said. She walked out on the front lawn with him and sighed, sitting down on the steps to watch him play.
Damon's eyes narrowed dangerously "Ash...what did you do?" He said in a low voice. He loved his brother but sometimes he was an idiot!James was playing with his ball and kicked it around, he liked when his dad played with him...this was boring!
Crew saw the ball roll towards him and chuckled handing it to Lexi "cute kid you have there."
Ash looked up at him, nervous of the look he saw on his brother's face. "I didnt mean to!" He protested. "I happened to get on their bad side... and they wanna kill me! So lets go before they come back? Please?"Lexi looked up in surprise, startled by the appearance of a cute stranger. "Oh he's not mine. Im watching him while his parents are out." She said,smiling politely. Then she jumped up. "Demetri!" She exclaimed. She rushed upstairs and found him still sleeping on the bed. She smiled and carried him downstairs, sitting down again and bouncing him on her knee. "This one's mine." She said
Damon sighed and nodded leading him to the window and climbing on the roof, he put his fingers to his lips and spread his long black wings and his brother and nose dived down swooping out of there silently.Crew chuckled and wiggled his finger at the sweet boy "he's a cutie!" He smiled at Lexi "I'm Crew, I'm new to the neighborhood been trying to find someone." His face darkened a little.
Ash loved flying. He grinned as Damon pulled him out of the window. Je spread his own wings at the last second, gliding beside his brother.Lexi noticed his face darken and she frowned in concern. Both boys were forgotten momentarily, and she disnt notice them getting closer and closer to the street. "Who were you looking for?" She asked. '"Maybe I can help."
Damon smirked to the side at his brother "lead the way" he had no idea where he was going, his brother moved around so often it was impossible to keep track...and now he was getting himself into trouble...greatCrew ran a hand through his sand colored hair and sighed "A monster...this man killed my family and destroyed my town...I've been tracking him so long but it's like he never ages or dies..."
James was chasing his ball when it rolled down the street, a car was speeding around the corner certaintly not watching for a small child.
Ash smiled and raised his wings a little to send him soaring higher. "I've been staying in the country recently." He said honestly. "Ive got a little place just north of here, if you want to stay and visit for a while."Lexi sucked in a sharp breath, wondering what kind of heartless creature could do such a thing. "That's awful!" She exclaimed. "I am so sorry...." her voice trailed off as she noticed James walking into the middle of the road, and then she noticed the car speeding towards him. She shrieked and in two bounding leaps she had leaped at James and shoved him out of the way. He landed on his bum and immediately started crying. The driver stopped the car and jumped out to make sure everyone was alright. Lexi's crumpled form lay still in front of the car.
Damon nodded "yeah, I have to get this sorted out so I don't have to keep saving you from your idiot decisions." He soared following him down to the little cabin on a ranch.Crew ran to her and checked her pulse "get an ambulance now!" He yelled at the driver and took off his jacket supporting her head, he didn't even know her but he felt sick...he would watch after her until someone she actually knew did. Finding Damon Salvadore would have to wait.
Ash laughed, hitting his driveway at a run, his wings disappearing. "You were always protective of me and I appreciate that." He said. "But you dont have to worry so much. Usually I get away pretty easy." He grinned, opening up his door for Damon.Lexi was unconscious. She had died. Her life had faded, and ended, severing her bond with Damon. But she didnt notice. For when she came back, her essense was not the eternal flame of a demon, it was the warm light of an angel. Her body was broken almost beyond repair, but she would live. The ambulance drove up a minute later.
Demetri and James were taken to be cared for by nurses.
Damon rolled his eyes "when are you ever going to grow up Ash?" He looked around his place, it was small but nice and he wasn't on the streets anymore. He sat on the couch "seriously...I won't be there always to save your ass! I have a family now...a son."Crew stayed by her bedside the entire time, he found out her name was Lexi...he couldn't help but be attracted to her, she was lovely and she saved that little boy's life...he had no one so it was nice to watch after her.
Ash raised his eyebrows, surprised by that. He grabbed a coke from the fridge and drank it slowly before answering. "So you got hitched." He said, nodding. He couldnt help but feel that his brother was ditching him. "Who is she? Or did she leave you with the child and run off?"After being rushed into the ER, Lexi was taken to have a surgery to try and keep her alive. Hourse later she was left in a room, with the note tjat she was recovering surprisingly quickly, thanks to her angel abilities of course. She blinked her eyes opened and smiled a little. "Hi. You stayed around. " she said softly. "Im sorry about your family."
Damon glared at him dangerously "watch it...Ash." He said with a tinge of venom in his voice. "Her name is Lexi, an angel I turned she's amazing...saw my demon phase and she still loves me." He showed him a picture of Lexi holding Demetri.Crew shrugged "doesn't matter...I had to make sure you were ok...I can leave if it makes you uncomfortable? The nurses are watching over the boys...James has a broken arm but he's ok thanks to you!"
Ash sighed softly. "Sorry! Sorry. Just thought it would be you and me forever, ya know?" He said, hufding. Then he nodded looking at the picture. "They're cute." He dismissed. Then he grinned. "Good for her staying around after you showed her that." He teased. Lexi smiled and shook her head. "No. Stay. Its lonely wothout my husband.I dont know where he went..." she sighed softly. "But im glad the kids are ok.
Damon shook his head "it still is you and me forever, you've had more girlfriends then I can count man!" He nodded "yeah...I lost it, hurt her pretty badly but she still loved me...never had anyone be like that before..."Crew nodded and smiled "I'm sure he'll be back..." He assured a little disappointed that she wasn't single. But they could be friends "I'm glad you're ok!"
Ash shrugged. "But non of those were serious. This is different." He protested. Then he whistled. "Yeah. Ok. Well. I guess I approve then. She's got guts to stick around." Lexi sighed and nodded. "Yeah. Im sure he will. Its just that he didnt say where he was going this time. And Damon's never done that before." To be honest, Lexi was starting to worry. She was in the hospital, and for the first time, he wasnt there to help her. Then she smiled at him. "Thank you. I am glad too."
Damon put him in a headlock and chuckled "oh I'm glad you approve! I can't do anything without my little brothers approval!"Crew blinked at the name and nearly choked "Damon?...Damon Salvadore?!" He said his voice in pure shock. How could this sweet angel be married to him?!
Ash tried to shove him off, laughing. "No you cant. Why did you never tell me you had a girl?" He asked. "You've told me about all your other interests."Lexi swallowed and nodded sowly. "Yes." She said softly. Why did his name stir so much emotion in this man? Could they have known eachother?
Damon let him go "so much has been going on Ash...plus I lost contact of you...I'm a lot different, she doesn't even know all the things I did...we did." He clarified Crew looked at her in shock "does your husband tell you much Lexi?..." He asked slowly not wanting to unload on her what an awful creature he was.
Ash bit his lip. "Well try to keep in touch more ok?" Then he frowned. "Have you told her anything ?" He asked, shaking his head slowly.Lexi bit her lip. "Well.... I dont ask much. I trust that he tells me what I need to know and only keeps secrets for a reason." She said honestly.
Damon shook his head no "she's never asked...so I'm not planning on letting that out any time soon, I don't think she'll be as in love with me if she found out I've been apart of hundreds of deaths.""Your husband is the monster I've been looking for, he's destroyed hundreds of lives and corrupts anything good...he's not human. He's been in hiding for awhile and I guess that's when he met you..."
Ash sighed and nodded. "She's a keeper if she sticks around after knowing that. That sounds kind of rough."Lexi gasped, her hand flying to her mouth, "what do you mean?" She asked, paling. "He... he wouldnt do that... he couldnt..."
((Im getting off for a bit, then ill get back on.))
Damon nodded and ran a hand through his hair "id give anything to fix the damage I have caused for so long..."Crew handed her an old black and white photo of him, but he looked pure malicious and cruel. A certain gleam in his eyes that showed up sometimes.
Ash sighed softly. "Cant help you there mate. And I cant say I wont cause more trouble either. You may be a changed man, but im not." He said, smiling a bit as he attempted to lift the mood.Lexi took the photo in shaking hands, staring at the pure hate on Damon's face. She didnt recognize that expression. Something kindled in her that she hadnt had before... fear. She gulped. Suddenly thr possibility that he just ran off and left her for good became more believable. She gulped. "Please tell me this is a fake?"
Damon chuckled and nodded "never expected you to...who are you dating now anyways? The chicks are usually what gets you into trouble...their boyfriends anyways!"Crew sighed "I'm sorry Lex...I'm sure he's changed and is good right?" Why she would she marry him?
Ash grinned. "Oh but they're worth the trouble. Im dating Astra currently." He said grinning.Lexi nodded slowly. Changed. "Yeah." He was changed, she beleived that. But, somewhere deep down, that picture had kindled a fear she couldnt shake. "I just didnt think... he was capable of that..." she said softly.
((Have to get off for a bit))
Damon raised a brow "who the hell is Astra?" His brother had an eclectic group of girls he dated.Crew frowned and touched her hand lightly "I'm sorry I had to be the one to tell you..."
Ash chuckled. "A lovely chick with a great sense of humor. But why do I need to justify my choices to you?" He raised a brow.Lexi bit her lip and shook her head. "No. Its alright. Its better than me never knowing." She managed a small smile, but it was forced. She suddenly felt so very alone.
Damon gave him a look "because I'm the one that gets you out of trouble...and pays your bail charges." He reminds him. "So what's she like? How'd you meet?"Crew frowned watching her, he could sense her sadness and he wished he could help "hey...anything I can do to help? I'm a really good friend" he gave a smile.
Ash shrugged. "Got me there." He agreed. Then he smiled. "Met her in a grocery store and hit it off well. She's really sweet and funny and kind." He said, smiling softly.Lexi nodded her smile growing a little more genuine. "I could always use a friend." She agreed. She reached out and tentatively took his hand.
Speaking of Astra, she was knocking on the door. Ash promised to take her horseback riding on the ranch.Damon chuckled "speak of the vixen...."
Crew squeezed her hand lightly and smiled glad he could give her some relief "want me to get the boys?..."
Ash laughed. "I better go. And so should you! But keep in touch, alright?" He asked, walking to the door.Lexi shook her head. "Not yet." She insisted. She didnt want to burden the children with her sorrows. "Thank you for staying with me." She winced then as she felt a sharp pain in her back. Her wings had begun to grow.
Damon shook his head amused he peaked around the corner and saw how pretty she was, very country with a loose braid and freckles on her face. His brother looked happy.Astra kissed him "hey...thought you forgot about me?" She had a tinge if a southern accent.
Crew frowned and helped her lean forward "what is it? Should I get the nurse?"
Lexi changed as he did, slipping into the hot tub and sighing in contentment. She nodded slowly. "A bit..." She admitted.
Torch nodded slowly. "I think so too." he agreed. "But they'll be old enough to go to school this year. Strange how fast they age..."
