Ah, shame! :-)
So sorry to be the lone holdout here! I will definitely finish by Tuesday! A Paris Apartment is a buddy read, so we're doing 12 chapters at a time & then discussing. I'll just tell her that I need to finish it up! It's a lot of fun. Oh, and of course, you guys were right! I am absolutely loving both Magic Bites AND Naked in Death!! And now I also know who Eve Dallas is...
Oh no worries, you aren't! :-) I'm still working on a couple of books myself hehe.So glad to hear though you're loving Magic Bites!! :-D
I haven't been acquainted with Eve Dallas yet, but from the love the series is getting all over GoodReads, I'm happy to hear you're enjoying that one, too!
Lauri wrote: "So sorry to be the lone holdout here! I will definitely finish by Tuesday! A Paris Apartment is a buddy read, so we're doing 12 chapters at a time & then discussing. I'll just tell ..."And Roarke! You now know who Roarke is!! *sighs, stares off into space*

All looks good now, thanks!
GoodReads seems to be a little wonky lately in several places.

Fair warning - the books gets even better ;)
Hmmm, as for books I'm looking forward to read in March..There's Fire Touched which finally came out in my paperback edition so I can finally finally buy and read it :-D I also still want to read the doorstop I didn't get to in February and in the meantime it's starting to yell at me haha - The Dragonbone Chair.
I also want to read You, The Caller, Dawn Study, Spider's Bite.. and I've been trying to read Empire of Storms for ages now. ;-)
We'll see what the month brings. There are a couple of challenges with specific tasks (Amazing Race, Star Wars Shelf Pursuit) so I'll just see what the month brings for those two and then I'll decide what to read.
I had a brief moment where I was thinking of re-reading some of the Dresden books, but then I realised that there was no point in it yet. The next book is still a loong way away.....
Lots of other good books to read in the meantime! :-)What are you looking forward to read this month?
I'm itching to read
, a political thriller. Loved the first 2 books and am re-reading them to get ready for this one. Hoping to get my hands on it in the next couple of weeks.I'm also thinking of reading
. Not really in the mood for it, but I need to finish the series.
After a quick perusal of my book stash I can cover the following:Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Parts 1 & 2
Yellow 3 card - H title
Murder of a Stacked Librarian - Green 6 card - author Swanson
A Tale for the Time Being - 1 card - author Ozeki / 0 card - standalone
Death on a Platter - 7 card - 7th in series
Curious Minds - 8 card - author Evanovich
Dying for a Cupcake - 4 card - 4th in series
Eldarwen wrote: "Ooooh yes!! VLAD!!! :-D I forgot about that one. Totally on my list, too :-)"Vlad doesn't like to be frogotten. Are you sure you want to admit to offend him that way? ;)
Oh dear me, no no absolutely not! If it helps, he is in my Amazon shopping basket, I just oh-so-briefly forgot about him when I thought about books I wanted to read *cough*
Eldarwen wrote: "Oh dear me, no no absolutely not! If it helps, he is in my Amazon shopping basket, I just oh-so-briefly forgot about him when I thought about books I wanted to read *cough*"Nice save ;)
It might just get you off tonights dinner menu ;)
Looking for some reverses now...Shout out if you've read: Succubus Shadows, Redeemed, A Thousand Splendid Suns, The Miniaturist, The Light Between Oceans
I can read
for Red 4.I have buddy read in this weekend for Caraval. It will work for cards: 1, 2 6 not sure about others.
In this month I will unfortunately read less books than in February. Till 10th I have 3 exams and I won't have too much time to read. I will try read more books after 10th :-)
No need to stress over the books, Ginger, but thanks for letting us know!Good luck with your exams!! :-)
What is it you're studying?
I just read the first bit of the Caraval synopsis and I'm shaking my head at myself..."Welcome, welcome to Caraval―Stephanie Garber’s sweeping tale of two sisters who escape their ruthless father when they enter the dangerous intrigue of a legendary game."
--> My brain instantly screams JUMANJI!!
I'm studying Pharmacy and on Friday I have exam of synthesis of drugs. And next week I have pharmacology and then toxicology.I watched the movie Jumanji when I was a kid. I love movies with Robin Williams.
Ooo, interesting subjects!- well not the organic chemistry part, but the pharmacology and toxicology :)
Have you read
?I think you might enjoy it!
No, I didn't read that one. But it sounds really good, especially that we learnt a little about HeLa cells. I usually don't read many biography books but I am planning to read a few this year. So thanks for recommendation, I will at it to my TBR :-)
I've wanted to read or listen to that book for years. It sounded very interesting to me. Now I'll have to see if I can get the audiobook since it is back on my list.
