I must apologizie, my daddy is in hospital for 10 days now, but now doctors discovered what it's wrong with him. He got atipical pneumonia with severe pain but it took them time to discover what is the problem. I was mad and between hospital and work I didn't read as much as I wanted.
Now his antibiotics therapy is good but he'll stay in hospital a week or so more, he is exhausted and lost weight and can't breathe properly still.
Now it's a easier that we know that right therapy is ordain, bubhe'll be ok in the end. Doctors said that that kind of pneumonia is dangerous this year.
I have only him in my life so I was devastated. I have son but father is a father, someone special. Isn't it!

I am going to personally work on finding books that work for the main UNO cards since we have 14 hands to finish this month.

Not sure what I will read next as I am going on vacation for the rest of the week but will definitely have a book or 2 for airport waiting time. *grin. May not check in much but I will be back next Monday.

I can read a book by John Green or JK Rowling or Agatha Christie. If I've understood this part correctly at least two people have to read a book each by the same author in order for it to count. And 5 people have to be doing this in order for us to get points from it. So we should probably plan just this part so we make sure it works. :)

Also, does anyone understand the character scavenger hunt? I'm very confused.

I believe that 2 people CAN read a book by the same author but you don't have to do that to have it count.

As far as the scavenger hunt goes, we are looking for the names of some of the characters from team books in Other books. So if I read a book like "The Red Car" which is not a team book obviously but I find a main character in the book named "Jack" for example, (one of the characters in the team books) then we can use it for scavenger hunt points. The spelling of the name must be exact though.

This is how I understand it anyway.

I have to say I am completely confused by the mini challenge, especially the scrabble challenge.

This is how I understand the mini challenge:
There are three ways to get points.

1. Read 5 books by an author of one of the team names.
So, any book by the authors in message 431

2. Read one book that is one of the team names.
Once again, message 431 lists the books in question. And when the team name is a series book, for example the Hunger games, it's only the first book in the series that can count for this part.

3. Scavenger hunt characters names in books.
We can read any book we want for this part, as long as one of the characters is named like one of the characters from our team names.

4. Scrabble
Here's where it gets tricky for me as well:( But I think we're supposed to create words by using the first and last letter of the team names. There are a lot of combinations.
An easy example: WHY - W (Will Traynor), H (Harry Dresden), Y (Yvaine).
Or BET - B (Bones), ET (Elizabeth BenneT)
But the words have to be at least 4 letters long.
We can only use a letter once, so we better make them count:)
After we've created words, it's time to use the books we read to spell them out.
