⚜️XAR the Bookwyrm (xar-the-bookwyrm) Marty, I'm not familiar with any of your books, so I choose Burial Rites by Hannah Kent and The Last Communist Virgin by Wang Ping for you using the randomizer.

I'm also going to recommend The Beekeeper's Apprentice (Mary Russell, #1) by Laurie R. King for your mystery genre request. This used to be one of my favorite series and I first read it when I was in the 8th grade! Great Alternate Sherlock Holmes series!

LaurLa | 3911 comments Debbie G! I pick for you:

Heat Wave (Nikki Heat, #1) by Richard Castle and Blossom Street Brides (Blossom Street #10) by Debbie Macomber

BONUS: Dance of the Winnebagos (Jackrabbit Junction, #1) by Ann Charles - this might be a new author/series you might like :-)

Happy Reading!!

Nichole | 1862 comments Hi Iris!

For you I'm picking Crown of Midnight (Throne of Glass, #2) by Sarah J. Maas because this is one of my favorite series!
I'm also picking Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell which is somewhat related to Carry On. Although, I'm not sure if it makes a difference. There's just some crossover. I enjoyed them both!

You didn't have a preferred genre so I'm just going to make a suggestion. If you would rather have a different genre/pick just let me know.

I strongly encourage reading The Assassin's Blade (Throne of Glass, #0.1-0.5) by Sarah J. Maas sooner, rather than later. It has good background information and things will make sense as you read through the series. It also introduces you to characters that show up throughout the series. And/Or since you liked that series so much, you should definitely read A Court of Thorns and Roses.

Debbie (debbiegray) | 1030 comments Good morning Jodi! I'll start with your bonus read. I picked the first book on your list because I have read it and enjoyed it very much
Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie Murder on the Orient Express (Hercule Poirot, #10) by Agatha Christie

And for your dusty book shelf I chose
Size Matters (A Perfect Fit #1) by Alison Bliss and The Book Thief by Markus Zusak
I hope you get a chance to read all 3 and enjoy!

Karen D | 111 comments Hi Deanne,

For you I pick Oregon Breeze by Birdie L. Etchison and Annie's Christmas Wish (Quilts of Lancaster County, #4) by Barbara Cameron . Completely random choices, since I'm not familiar with any of these books. :)

For your preferred genre pick, I also know basically nothing about Christian fiction or amish fiction, so I picked a book from the "Best Christian fiction" list that it doesn't look like you've already read, hope that's close to what you're looking for! Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers

Your profile is set to private, so I can't see what you've read, so I picked blindly. Sorry about that!

One of the books I read this month was a mystery with a dash of romance, so you might want to check out A Merciful Death (Mercy Kilpatrick, #1) by Kendra Elliot by Kendra Elliot if you haven't read it yet.

I pick Fated (Dark Protectors, #1) by Rebecca Zanetti and Wickedly Dangerous (Baba Yaga, #1) by Deborah Blake for you. Both the shotgun wedding and Baba Yaga angle sound like interesting premises.

I'm going to recommend The Hundred Thousand Kingdoms (Inheritance, #1) by N.K. Jemisin . It's on your TBR list and it's absolutely gorgeous. The romance in the second book in the series is even more exquisite. Based on your DB and preferred genres, I think the whole series could be a great fit.
