February 2017 Dusty Bookshelf Challenge
Debbie G! I pick for you:
and
BONUS:
- this might be a new author/series you might like :-)Happy Reading!!
Hi Iris!For you I'm picking
because this is one of my favorite series! I'm also picking
which is somewhat related to Carry On. Although, I'm not sure if it makes a difference. There's just some crossover. I enjoyed them both! You didn't have a preferred genre so I'm just going to make a suggestion. If you would rather have a different genre/pick just let me know.
I strongly encourage reading
sooner, rather than later. It has good background information and things will make sense as you read through the series. It also introduces you to characters that show up throughout the series. And/Or since you liked that series so much, you should definitely read A Court of Thorns and Roses.
Good morning Jodi! I'll start with your bonus read. I picked the first book on your list because I have read it and enjoyed it very muchMurder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie
And for your dusty book shelf I chose
and
I hope you get a chance to read all 3 and enjoy!

Hi Deanne, For you I pick
and
. Completely random choices, since I'm not familiar with any of these books. :) For your preferred genre pick, I also know basically nothing about Christian fiction or amish fiction, so I picked a book from the "Best Christian fiction" list that it doesn't look like you've already read, hope that's close to what you're looking for!
NikkPicks for you:
and
Paranormal romance is not a genre that I read, so I went to Amazon's New Releases in Paranormal Romance page and selected a book.
Rachel wrote: Hi Rachel, I chose
and
for you. I've read both and liked them very much. For your third choice, I suggest
by Christina Henry. Let me know if you've already read it and I'll choose another. I hope you enjoy all three!
Karina, My picks for you are:
and
. I don't read widely in science fiction, fantasy or horror but one of February's Kindle First Reads looked really good...it is The Winter Over. I have not read it though so take this rec with a grain of salt!!
Trea wrote: "I'm also going to recommend The Beekeeper's Apprentice (Mary Russell, #1) by Laurie R. King for your mystery genre request. This used to be on e of my favorite series and I first read it when I was in the 8th grade! Great Alternate Sherlock Holmes series!."Hi Trea, thanks for the picks. I was wondering if you'd mind suggesting another mystery. I've already read the Beekeeper's Apprentice.

Your profile is set to private, so I can't see what you've read, so I picked blindly. Sorry about that!
One of the books I read this month was a mystery with a dash of romance, so you might want to check out
by Kendra Elliot if you haven't read it yet.

for you. Both the shotgun wedding and Baba Yaga angle sound like interesting premises.I'm going to recommend
. It's on your TBR list and it's absolutely gorgeous. The romance in the second book in the series is even more exquisite. Based on your DB and preferred genres, I think the whole series could be a great fit.
