"Then we should plan to go tomorrow," he said more confidently. "I don't want it to be an issue."

Jackson looked at her hesitantly. "You aren't going to change your mind again?"

"HAven't decided." SHe began to laugh a little. "kIdding."

He smiled at her. "You confuse me," he said with a little laugh.

Victoria walked into her House's common room, hoping for some peace and quiet. Much to her surprise, nobody else was in there, so she quickly sat down in a seat by a window and pulled out a book she was reading earlier, swinging her legs in the chair back and forth slightly.

Charlie silently walked into the common room, she was smiling which signified she was happy as she went to a couch and sat down, relaxing as she took out a small book with writing in it. Ever since she came to this school she's been writing about it in a book.

Victoria looked up slightly when she saw someone else come in and blushed slightly, looking back down at her book. She really hoped the person would leave her alone and not try to engage in a conversation, since she wasn't very good at those.

Charlie twirled her pencil a bit to think of an idea of what else to put in when she noticed someone reading. "Hey, whatcha reading?" She asked curiously, hoping it was a good book she might be able to borrow from the library or something.

She blushed even more and covered her face up with the book, showing Charlie the title by pointing at it.

Charlie looked at the title and read it quietly to herself and said, "Is it a good book?"

"I-I'm not very far in it yet," She explained very quietly at a whisper. "I don't know what to think of it yet,"

Charlie said, "No need to be shy. I could hardly hear what you said." She smiled friendly and said, "I won't hurt you."

"I-I know you won't hurt me....I-I'm not very used to people w-who aren't my brothers or M-Mom," She blushed even more.

Charlie smiled and said, "Oh so thats why. Well maybe you should start getting use to people cuz in this school you'll be surrounded by people and eventually have to talk to someone, you can't just avoid people or how would you make friends?"

"I-I'll just stay around my brothers," Victoria stated. "W-we're all in the same House. Or I'll go see Mom. S-she's a teacher here,"

"But then how will you get used to people. You can't just shy away from everyone, you'll eventually have to talk to someone. You might get different classes, like how I got a different house then my sister." She explained.

"T-then I'll adapt. Slowly but surely. I-I'm very good at adapting," She finally smiled, a nice, warm, friendly smile. "I-I've had many years of practice,"

"Besides, you might make friends in this school." She smiled then added, "Oh Im Charlotte Fenton by the way but I prefer being called Charlie."

"I-I'm Victoria Raijin. They call me.....Victoria," She laughed lightly. "I-I at least want to befriend my roommate, since s-she's with me, y-you know?"

Charlie smiled, "I get that feeling but don't be afraid to try meeting new people, who knows you might like that person." She said.

"I hope I like her. She hasn't e-even decorated her dorm yet," She shrugged, slowly becoming more comfortable. "So I can't use that to judge her personality,"

"Probably hasn't gotten the time yet to decorate her room." Charlie said with a smile.

"Maybe," Victoria shrugged again. "All I know is that her name is Sofia. Both of our names end with an 'A!'"

Charlie smiled and said, "Thats cool." She stretched and said, "So, how do you like this place so far. I think its great, a good break for me too from all that ghost hunting back home." She chuckled a bit and looked at Victoria.

"It's good, I suppose," She shrugged. "Mom went here as a kid, so she thought it would be good if my brothers and I went too. But Mom wasn't as shy as I am,"

"Well, I'd be happy to be your friend if you need one, since we are in the same house." She said as she sat back down, and went back to writing.

"O-okay," She smiled slightly. "You're a ghost hunter? What's that like? Is it a hard job?"

"Well, sometimes. We make sure our town is safe by taking care of the rogue ghosts that attack, sending them back to a place called the ghost zone." She explained.

"Hey, that's like what Mom does. Except she does it for all evil beings, not just ghosts," She explained, a bit louder. "Her powers are very deadly to vampires,"

"Thats cool." She said with a smiled, "Luckily my dad is probably looking after our town while me and my younger sister is away." She added. "I still have my ghost hunting equipment with me incase one of our enemies attack this school, if you want I can show you them maybe later."

"I-I'd like that," Victoria nodded. "So you're a ghost hunter. Are you a human? I'm sorry if that's a really rude question..."

Charlie shook her head, "Not really, Im part ghost because of my father." She said as she purposely made her hand invisible to show her before making it visible.

She felt her eyes widen and she leaned in slightly to look. "W-wow, that's really cool! But if you hunt ghosts....and you're a ghost....do you only hunt the bad ones?"

"Just the bad ones. I really go to school like any other normal person, minus the fact I have the press following me because they know who my Dad is." She said.

"Your dad is famous?" She looked down at her book and finally slipped her bookmark into it, closing it. "I can't imagine a life like that. I mean, lots of people here know who Mom is, obviously, but not back in our world,"

"Yeah. It can be a pain, but he told me how he saved our world from an asteroid that ghosts couldn't touch." She explained.

"That's really cool. My mom serves the Alight and was originally sent here to rid the world of evil. Although she didn't do very much," She shrugged. "But that's not really her fault,"

Victoria nodded. "A little bit. She said she made a friend here and that it made her a lot more social and friendly. She thought it would be a good opportunity for my brothers and I,"
