Up at 05:00 to take my meds but now giving Otto meds too. The flea treatment I've been using for years suddenly isn't working and all the sudden Otto's ears were swollen and painful. Cleaned them out, but the next evening they seemed worse so I called the Vet and got him in the next day Friday. $310 later Otto is on an antibiotic, ear drops, a flea medicine that killed anything on him immediately, and a different long lasting flea killer. He also had his rabies vaccine and a nail trim. I also decided to put him on a joint supplement since he just turned 11. I know how much pain I am in all the time, I probably should have started him on something sooner. So instead of my alarm going off, taking my meds and going back to sleep. We have a new morning routine for the next 2 weeks. The 17:00 meds for Otto aren't as bad as dragging my butt out of bed. 🤣
