by Pamela Grandstaff. National Love Note day. Sept. 26. The rose is a universal symbol of love, and my quil would be a lasting love note. My quilt is composed of randomly placed squares of different sizes, each square with a different rose in full bloom. The edges would be thorny vines, to represent that love is not "all roses and sunshine", but also a struggle at times.I love this task - I could think about a quilt for many of the books I read.
