Just had a look at Guns of the Dawn and it looks like something I would be interested in as well. Let me know if you do decide to read it as as standalone.
I have the first book of Shadow of the Apt waiting and would be interested in reading his standalone. I loved his sci-fi novel.
Hi guys! Chris and I are planning a buddy read of Words of Radiance starting January 13th. I know there's a thread already set up, but I just wanted to let y'all know it would be taking place. Anyone interested in joining us is welcome!

I'll contribute. I should be starting Edgedancer tomorrow and can't wait to be back in that world.
Anybody want to buddyread The Bear and the Nightingale with myself and Quinn? To read in January or Feb.
Emma wrote: "Anybody want to buddyread The Bear and the Nightingale with myself and Quinn? To read in January or Feb."I will!
Emma wrote: "How are we all set for Monday 6th Feb? If so I will make a thread for it.."Sounds good to me.
Hi everybody! I'd like to read the Faarseer Trilogy and The Tawny Man by Robin Hobb this Year. Also the Empire Trilogy by Feist and Memory of Sorrow and Thorn by Tad Williams. I know they are older and classic but they have been lying on my bookshelves since forever and I'd like to finish them before moving on to Malazan. Would anybody be interested in reading any of the above titles with me?
Laura you just named two of my all-time favorites!!!! Love your tastes :) I'd be down for the one I haven't read - the tad williams. :)
The empire trilogy really sparked my passion for books and the final tawny man book is the reason I started blogging - it was so amazing I had to tell someone haha.

I would love to start the Fraser trilogy at some point this year but I want to wait just a bit more - right now I have too many started series!
I'm committed to a few reads in February, but I'd love to read Memory Sorrow and Thorn with you; I think the last time I read it was when the last book came out in hardback (man, I feel old!).
Thanks everyone for replying. After your reviews Niki I am even more eager to start Farseer right away. I'd love to read Tad Williams with you Shaitarn. I have Brent Weeks Night Angel and Lightbringer scheduled for March and April. I could either put Tad Williams in between them (like the third week of March or close to end of April) Would that be ok for you?
Hi Aristea. If I don't start the Farseer this month with another buddy read from here I'll wait for you so we can start together :))
If we do tad Williams in may I can join. :) but please don't wait for me if you'd rather tackle it earlier.
March it is then. Will you please fix the date for March Quinn? For Tad Williams? And do we set up a separate thread? I don't know how this actually works.

hey Niki. It looks like it's just you and me for Lightbringer in April. Would you like to replace it with something else? Maybe others would also be interested. I for one have other titles also on my reading list this year: Outlander, Liveship Traders, Soldier's Son, The Serpentwar Saga, His Dark Materials... Would you be interested in any of these or have you read them already? And would anyone else like to read any of the above in April?
Laura wrote: "hey Niki. It looks like it's just you and me for Lightbringer in April. Would you like to replace it with something else? Maybe others would also be interested. I for one have other titles also on ..."Lol, it might be small right now. the number usually growing over the time
Unfortunately, I've already read/tried all of those haha. It's still a little early - how about we set the date for end of April/beginning of may sometime and see how it goes? We can always switch titles at the last minute if we need to. ;P
Let us know once you have intended start dates and we can set up threads for them. Like Quinn said, usually once you open the thread more people see it and then decide to join in on the buddy read as well :).
Quinn wrote: "Ok I will set up Ted Williams folder. Do you have the first book in mind?"Is it the Shadowmarch series you planning? Because I also got this one on my shelf...
Laura wrote: "Eh of April, beginning of May is fine with me Niki. We can start Lightbringer then. I'm in :))"
Sounds good! I'm looking forward to it! :)

Thank you for the offer - would you mind setting Lightbringer for May 1st?
