Today I walked into a charity shop after my lunchtime gig and perused the shelves and one paperbook caught my attention, so I pulled it down and it is by an Aussie author, and is the story of the man who put telephone lines up all over Australia and his wife Alice, who lent her name to Alice Springs. I bought it for £1.99.

When I received an ARC of A People's History of the Vampire Uprising, there was a slip inside saying if they used your review on social media, they would send you a copy of Stephen King's book. Well, after the publication date passed, I sent them a message: did you use my review and please, please, can I have a copy of The Outsider.
