I am 50 pages from the end, where Maeve is whipping Aelin. I want to rip her eyes out!!! I was so happy when Rowan's cousins turned on their own armada!I think Manon has a plan though.....that's why she is being so lax about the whole situation
I finished!!!! OMG, I can't even begin to wrap my head around what I just read. All the planning Aelin did to get them to that place just blows my mind! Having Lysandra mimic her body and mannerisms just blows me away! I need the next book NOW!!! I don't think I can wait another year!!

I can't believe this! I was browsing my elibrary and I saw a copy of book just sitting there and nobody had borrowed it! Unbelievable! I got it and I'm going to start tomorrow.
I'm a bit nervous , with the way the last book ended ....

Kelby's copy hasn't arrived yet, probably due to the storm, so she's probably not going to start until late next week, and I'll wait to read it until then.
If you decide to start tomorrow, could you keep comments under spoilers until we can catch up to you next week? That would be awesome!

Kelby's not getting the messages from the thread, so I messaged her this morning, asking if she was ready to start. Don't worry though, we'll be very supportive of all of us when we get it started!
I haven't had a chance to read yet. When I do I'm going to leaf through Empire of storm first.
Eeep I just realized this is Chaol story and not Aelin's!I'm not sure how I feel about that.
Is she going to be freed in this book or is she going to be in that box even at the end of this book? Eeeep

Not sure, but I'm thinking that Chaol doesn't know what's happened to Aelin, but will by the end of the book. He gonna be angry!

I have a cousin whose name is Nesryn. And a couple of years ago they had an accident and her husband got paralyzed below the waist :(
Kahveh means coffee in turkish and persian and maybe a few other languages.

Made it through Chapter 5 last night, Kelby. Slipped up and almost started 6 too, but remembered and stopped in time!It's a bit slow moving for me right now. I love the descriptions of the southern continent and how things are done there. I especially love the tie to The Assassin and the Healer story that we read previously! Hopefully, it will pick up a bit!

No I haven't read any of the novellas. I'm planning to read them soon. Haven't had the chance yet

In Empire of Storms, she tied into the events of one of those novellas, and now, with Tower, she's tied into The Assassin and the Healer. I'd say it's a safe bet that the next book will tie into that final novella somehow.

Up to chapter 11, Kelby! So far, we have more questions than answers, and I'm a bit bored with this story. I think it's suffering from Part 1 syndrome! Makes me glad that we're doing this in 5 chapter chunks!

I am going to get caught up today. I didn't get in all of my chapters yesterday but I agree that it's a bit slow so hopefully it picks up. If I remember correctly, in Empire of Storms the Assassin and the Pirate is the tie in.

I was happy with the way it was going, I wasn't very keen on the book anyway! I wanted Aelin's story :( We still have to wait another year for hers!!!
