Yes and I am soooo happy!!!! I wanted to give you guys a heads up that I may not be on here for a little bit due to the hurricane that is supposed to hit us tomorrow. If I have internet I will update my reading (because that's about all I will be doing if we still have power). If not, I will jump back on when we have it again!

Stopped in the middle of chapter 30. Can't keep my eyes open,going to bed now. I might take my book to work tomorrow to read more,
I'm going really slow on this. My book is a huge hardback and it's hard to carry to work. So I only read at nights and I've been so tired from work that I can't read more than 70-80 pages each night. I I'm on page 306 (chapter 36 I think).How far are you Trea?

I'm on page 313, beginning of chapter 35.
Chapters 17 and 18 were quite a shock! I wonder how she's going to handle it with the Thirteen.
I love how this is all tying into the stories in The Assassin's Blade. Up until this point, those stories haven't had too much impact on current events, but now? Yeah, right in the thick of things! I can't wait to see where the rest of the short story events will fit into this tapestry!

My husband and I went out for dinner two nights in a row, as we'd gotten a couple of gift cards to restaurants. As far as gifts went, money is always tight for us, so I gave him a tin pencil box that I had put a divider in. On one side of the box, I filled it with slips of paper that told all the memories and things I loved from our first 10 years of marriage. On the other side, I put slips of paper with the dreams I have for the next 10 years of our marriage. My thought was that I could add to the box and add new memories and dreams to it, and he could pull them out and read them whenever he felt that our marriage was getting rocky or failing. My husband's gift to me was a clock that he had bought, which he did not put a battery in, that he set to the exact time we got married at. On it he wrote our anniversary date and the words "The beginning of Happily Ever After..." He decorated the clock with two doves, dressed up in wedding finery. He spent about $15 total for the gift, and I loved it! My gift only cost $7.50 for the pencil box. Hope that helps!

Looks like a lot of this book is tying into Assassin's Blade, so if you're getting confused about stuff in this, reading it might help it make sense.

Wow that's so romantic and what brilliant ideas!
We don't give each other expensive gifts either. It had never made sense to me when couples spend 100s of dollars for gifts to each other.
I'm not as creative as you , i know I'll end up buying him a "best husband in world" mug lol

Chapter 35 was nuts!
I'm back guys!!! We got through the storm ok and only lost power for a few hours but I didn't get any reading done yesterday because I had to go to work. I work for our county property appraiser's office as an appraiser so I was on the damage assessment team. I am on chapter 26 and I hope to catch up this weekend!

I have made it to chapter 34 so I am slowly making progress. I don't know what it is but this series ALWAYS takes me forever to read!

It was really hard to stop there but I was sooo tired I didn't understand what I was reading!
We've been working in the backyard for a few weeks now , the backyard that we had neglected for years! We're almost done but we really need to finish by the end of this week. So in addition to working the weekends , we started working weekdays from 4-6pm after work.

Ok, I am up to the point where the Ilken have come and Lorcan realizes that he and Elide are on the wrong side of Aelin's power! I hope to finish in the next couple of days!
