Review: Wow this was a crazy book. And I loved every word of it! I had no doubt I would enjoy this book because everything I've read by Courtney Cole has been fantastic. Even though this was different than her normal romances I wasn't disappointed. I adored the bond between Calla a and Finn. Although, at times I felt their relationship bordered on weird. Dare seemed to be just what Calla needed to sort out all the crazy that Finn continuously brought to her life. But through it all, I KNEW that I was missing something. I knew at the end I would be surprised. I was.
Can't wait to start book#2!

This is the first contemporary romance I have read by Gena Showalter and I enjoyed it. Jase was so tortured by his past and Brook Lynn was good for him to help him get a fresh start. It was sweet to watch their relationship develop. I loved the side characters, especially Beck and West, and look forward to their stories in the rest of this series.

Week 2 - Spot #: 13
Alternate: Author J - Jack Campbell

Review: This book marks a transition in this story. Instead of only Mari and Alain, tons of people join in the fight against the guilds so there's a lot of the same talking to convince others. This was necessary but it made the book dragged a little, as if it felt as if the same conversations were happening over and over. Something else I liked was that Alain seemed more human somehow, as he was starting to show some anger and worry - it makes sense that after Mari woke up his feelings, that not only the positive ones would surface.
Anyhow, totally love this series and I'm really looking forward to the next one (if I could, I would pre-order it today!)

I have mixed feelings for this book. I've been putting it off for forever but I really wanted to see the movie. I finished it in one day. I loved the format of the book, the way the chapters were laid out and the dialogue, etc.
The actual story felt like there was so much missing from it. I mean I got the idea but I felt there was just plot details missing about each character. But I suppose that makes it easier to relate them to your own life. I was really really happy with the last chapter when Earl got real with Greg. It was everything I had wanted to say to him. I thoroughly enjoyed that it's not a super sad ending but it's definitely not a happy ending where everyone lives and the dorky guy gets the girl. I liked that it was a tad of an unpredictable story.
So all in all mostly loved, just wanted more :)

But I have managed about 3 hours of an 8 audio book. So on track to finish before Thursday night.

I did not like this book. I did not like the heroine. It was readable but barely. It was so repetitive. There was no organic reason for half of what happened and it was so over the top. The heroine constantly referred to various body parts responding to the hero, Remy but not in the way you'd imagine. There is a depiction of mental illness that was not well described at all. I can see why people like this book, Remy is very alpha and his attraction to Brooke, as described, is very appealing. But it was ridiculous.
I've had this book forever and I'm just glad it's off my TBR.

Review: I have been waiting for long for this to be released. I loved the first two books. Unfortunately, this was only good. Still better than okay! Even though it's a book about racing cars, I felt it had too much of that. I enjoy the relationships much more. And of course, they were as dirty (in a good way!) as usual. I thought the love between Shelby and Caine was so sweet. Her love for Colt was pretty awesome too. I still have issues with Caroline but that's because I'm such a jealous person that it is hard for me to relate to her. Was it a bit disappointing? Yes. Would I recommend it anyway? Without a doubt!

After getting into some serious trouble, Adam left Idaho and Holly to join the military. A heartbroken Holly married her professor a year later. They both return home years later to heal and get back on their feet. The last thing either of them wants is to fall in love again. But when Holly's father goes missing, she needs Adam's help finding him.
This book was totally predictable but still a sweet 2nd chance romance. I especially like all the adorable fur balls! I always go for Jill Shalvis books when I'm in the mood for something simple, a little sexy and a little humor.

I only have about 15 minutes left of my audio. Since it's only Tuesday, I will post my review tomorrow.

First, I love the covers of these. Loved this book. Love this series. I was ready to hunt the author down and seek vengeance if Oscar wasn't recovered safe and sound. Really liked the story connection to the witch trials in colonial MA although it wasn't the Salem ones. Growing up so close to Salem, I was always interested in anything witch related. Already have the next book fired and up and ready to go.

Alternate: Title W - Only the first word of the title. A, An, And, and The do not count. So if the letter is B: The Best Day would be ok. Dear Betty would not be ok.
