Has my flu shot, two weeks ago.

Still have had a virus all this week.

Last week also had a padel tennis racket hit me in the eye, went to hospital to get cleaned. Just healing now..

PMSL! I never said that I don't drink, ever, Christine. I just don't drink VERY OFTEN or VERY MUCH when I DO drink. LOL. One pint glass or 12 ounce bottle of beer or hard cider, or one cocktail or one glass of wine and that's it for the night.

I'm getting my flu shot next week, Diane.

Well I can’t drink because I have a medical problem and i’m on a lot of medications and that’s not bad and i’m sorry I got it wrong Amber and Sonya I can’t get a flu shot because my mom doesn’t want me to get one but I’m staying away from people who are sick

My mom is afraid to have me get a flu shot because I get to many allergic reactions to new medications

So that's actually a good reason to not get a vaccine. A friend of mine can't get vaccines because they're made in eggs and he has an egg allergy.

Climbing out of my hole to say Howdy.
We have been in KC for almost 3 yrs. How does time fly so quickly.
The first year, we were consumed with the reno of our home. We knew the house had great bones and was situated in a good area of KC, Blue Springs. We have everything we need within 15 min of our home.
The reno took it out of me, plus my oldest daughter having a heart attack and suffering with seizures (something new to her). Then I became a great grandmother again. Thank God I was in MO., I tell you.
But then, we realized my back and neck was in serious trouble. My Neurosurgeon tackled the lower back first, and I am 9 days past back surgery now. I am doing well, but pretty much hobbling around. I know this will be a huge deal for me, not dealing with Chronic Pain every day. I can already tell a difference. Months from now, I may tackle the neck. But, you can bet, I will let the lower back heal, 100 % first. One day at a time. I am thankful to be reading and stitching for now --- after a few weeks of healing, I will try hooking again. Just checking in - I miss my buddies in this group! ❤️❤️❤️

Ahhhhhhh shucks..........Sean......thank you for the sweet note. I think life just may be slowing down a bit. It's mandatory that I slow down.......so I just might have more time for our group. I have missed all of you.
For once, I am putting myself first, in the healing process. Having chronic pain is really hard when you want to go "ninety to nuthin". I will get my back healthy!!!!
