Mr. Bennet's Library 101+ Books
193 Condescension and CondemnationA very good book and loved the new charecters as a great comical couple. They made Mrs. Bennet look smart.
Glad you enjoyed it. And good progress...nearing the 200 mark...but each step is what counts not the horizon.
thank you Sophia and Sheila 194 Choosing Real: An Invitation to Celebrate When Life Doesn't Go as Planned
I know this isn't anything close to austen just wanted to add this to my read list
You are cleared for touch down on runway two zero zero, Lenora. Begin your descent as your countdown commences.
Debbie wrote: "I really enjoyed getting a different perspective on Mrs. B. in that one, too. So nice to see her and Darcy actually understanding each other!"I really thought this was a clever variation. I love seeing someone like Mrs. Bennet shock people with her ability to really understand what is happening around her. There is another unpublished story, can't remember the title, where she is actually a very accomplished match maker. Wish I could think of it...
194 The Honorable Mr. Darcy: A Pride & Prejudice VariationLiked this. Could anyone tell me the name of the follow up book to this one

I don't think it's out yet, Lenora.
I read a couple of books that I got as .pdf files from Claudine (thank you) but can't find them to list properly. :/Bingley At Rosings by Michelle Ann: The title says it all. Bingley goes to Rosings with Darcy and Col F and grows a backbone! Ta-da! Loved it. :)
Locked in the Library by Lise: I am guessing this author's native language is not English? A bit hard to read and probably frustrating for some but I enjoyed it very much. We are left in suspense for a bit which was fun and when the offenders are removed to another location the antics of the family are a bit insane which is also fun. Not for everyone but a bit of fresh air for me.
Thank you Debbie195 An Encounter at Longbourn
I liked this story except the ending. It felt like it ended in the middle of an idea.

Bingley at Rosings sounds good. Adding that to my list. :-)
197 Mr. Darcy's Christmas Dilemma: A Pride and Prejudice Variation NovellaThis was allright but was so against the charecters in cannon that it was not as enjoyable
Yes, sometimes big changes in the characters can be so jarring that they distract. Three more, Lenora. :)
Check this out, friends: £5 notes with tiny, hidden Jane Austen engravings worth up to £50,000 http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016/...
I found it very interesting what he has done to calm his body tics, etc. so as to have no mars on his engraving. NO coffee...that would be a sacrifice for me...even though I only drink two large cups per day.
Sheila wrote: "I found it very interesting what he has done to calm his body tics, etc. so as to have no mars on his engraving. That is exactly what I drink and I think I would die without it!
198 Shyness and SincerityThis is a very good story. Who would have thought there to be more than one Mr. Collins.
This is found at dwiggy.com and is by Sophie
I am reading an unpublished story, Creep - all about an intense love/HATE relationship between Darcy and Elizabeth, who have grown up (modern world) as best friends...just like their fathers are best friends BUT in their teens due to misinterpreting something observed have turned to "hating" each other. It was recommended by others in JAFF when we met in NYC.

How are you liking it so far? And do you have a link?
I am loving it. The sex scenes are few so far but the one when they FINALLY get together is pretty hot. I am about 136 out of 193 pages in. Claudine sent me a copy but then I enlarged the font to read it.
God bless her! I think Claudine is afraid to recommend any unpublished stories to me ever since she sent me a copy of Being Mrs. Darcy (which is another super-long one, as you might remember) and I was, shall we say, less than enthusiastic in my reaction to it!
But none of us agree on EVERY book. We have a right to opinions and must know that there are going to be ones others do not enjoy in the same manner. This one was written in 2010 so it has been around for a while.
Yeah, You didn't agree with me on a book and you still love me... um...rather I still love you... I meant to say. We're still speaking... aren't we... hello??
In all honesty it would be a fairly boring group if we all loved the same books and if we were all afraid to say what we thought even if it is someone else's favourite. Of course if any of you knock my favs I'll never speak to you again ;)!
Teresa wrote: "In all honesty it would be a fairly boring group if we all loved the same books and if we were all afraid to say what we thought even if it is someone else's favourite. There are probably some fascinating statistics in it all, but I'm too lazy to analyze them that far. ;-)
199 This Disconcerting Happiness: A Pride and Prejudice VariationLiked this book. It differently looked closer to canon than most with a few changes that are surprising.
Shelia i got the link to that book awhile back on here. I will see if i can find it again. I would rate it about 4.5Found it dwiggie.com/derby/old_2002/shopie htm

I wanted to get my Christmas books together [two are non JAFF, sorry].
Just finished reading a unpublished story my Peter Hood (my first) - https://www.fanfiction.net/s/11881629... - only about 50k words which I enjoyed. (Though a bit of a hint I don't need a HEA for ODC to enjoy a book).
200 Of Fortune's Reversal: A Pride and Prejudice VariationIt was nice to see mary, kitty, and lydia all grown up and making very nice matches which in turn they put forth mony for lizzy, and jane's doweries.
